JB Carpets of Holloway

I was looking for some smart carpets with taped edges. They’re not easy to find at a reasonable price. But JB Carpets helped me to get exactly what I was looking for, at a really good price. They went the extra mile for me, helping me to choose the carpet I wanted, then working with the edging provider I suggested and ensuring that the carpets arrived on time for my daughter’s birthday party. John and the team are really brilliant. Thank you.

The worst experience of any sort of deal in years!!! I purchased laminate flooring from J B Carpets which they had measured and suggested 50sqm was required. When I got it measured with someone else I was told that only 42 Sqm was required. Even if you consider 10% waste it would only be 46.5 sqm.
That is not even the worst bit. When the laminate arrived after two days I informed J B Carpets that I did not like the Laminate as much as I did before and would he be able to take it back. The guy from J B Carpets mentioned that he would have to check with the stockist and then after followups for two days he mentioned that the stockist had declined to take it back and when asked about J B carpets taking it back, I got an answer «No Chance».
Apart from the laminate I had paid for existing carpet removal. The removal guys removed carpet in two rooms and missed one room completely. When I called J B carpets about the problem I was told that he would give me the number of the guys who came for removal and chase it up directly. When I reminded that I had paid J B carpets for the service and would want them to do the chasing bit and giving me a time when the removal guys would arrive I was told I would get a call back however, I was never called back for four days until I had to go to the store myself.
AVOID !!!

Yep, carpet guys in London look like they have stepped out of some sort of gangster film!
JB Carpets are really reasonably priced, much less then the big chains like carpetright, and offered me a good service.
