Good restaurant which is always clean and look fresh. The staff is extremely friendly even at busy times. The food is fresh and tasty with well stocked selves… My favourite is their ice-creams!

I came into this particular itsu during a lunch break and the staff here was so friendly and nice to me! The food was fresh and tasty. I love the miso soup here and I find their new line of juices to be really hydrating and tasted very healthy. I love that they do a 15% off student discount AND they slash their prices half an hour before close. Yum, healthy and fresh eating

Itsuuuuu good! Like to come here for a healthy lunch or snack, especially love the salmon dishes, always taste so fresh! My favourite thing about Itsu would have to be at 8.30pm every night when all food is half-price! Great time to pick up lunch & dinner for the next day for less than a tube ride to the local Tesco :)

I sort of have a love-hate relationship with itsu because I love so many items on it’s menu, it’s close to my office AND it’s healthy! The hate part is my addiction to this place. So yes it’s a chain but I’m not going to complain. There is great sushi and it’s an easy pick your food and go or have a quick meal with a friend. Since we don’t have a café to eat in our office and often end up eating at our desk this is a great option. The slim salmon is almost always sure to please, the veggie dumpling soup is filled with yummy dumplings and fluffy noodles with miso soup, wow my mouth is watering thinking about it. Service is always friendly. The only thing I would suggest is spicier hot sauce and stronger wasabi — I always throw on wayyyy too much!

I like itsu, I like sushi, I like lunching with a friend. at itsu you can do all these things :) how can it not be a happy place? Like all city-lunch-joints it has a haphazard queuing system but you make it to the front with the food of your choice. You can order a hot drink or soup, then pay and go, or pay and stay. All the extra goodies are right in front of you on the counter — chopsticks, pickled ginger, etc. I like the décor in this branch — it’s girly(white with pink sakura wall decals), I like that it has so many windows looking out — making it feel more airy and spacious than if it was walled in on every side. I thought the staff were friendly. They have a very broad selection of sushi, sashimi, nagiri, etc etc. You can’t really go wrong. My friend is veggie, so she was happy. I like the bottles of goo they have on the tables — lo-salt soy sauce(not a biggie for me, but will make some sectors happy), chilli sauce, hoy sin or similar. Hey, these are details. but the details are what make a place eg. I hate that Starbucks can’t be bothered to give me a spoon, but Costa can. So LUV to itsu for looking at all these little bits and pieces. The tables were clean. The floor was clean. I liked that the«stations»(those mucky areas where the trays pile up, and people can’t be bothered to aim their rubbish into the bin-hatch. yuck) were also nice and clean and clear — during rush hour. Go itsu !

Because a 10-minute walk from my work to the nearest Itsu was obviously too far, I’m overjoyed that they’ve opened this one a mere 4 minutes from my office. If you already know Itsu, you already know that the food is good. Wholesome, hearty & good for you and all that jazz. If you’re keen on nice takeaway sushi or miso style soups, you could do a whole lot worse than Itsu. The prices are reasonable(today I had the Dynamite Soup — £2.95 and a big salmon and avacado sushi roll — £1.95) and the food is of decent quality. There’s a decent amount of indoor seating(and some outdoor seating on the pavement of cheapside if you’re brave enough). The seating is a little cramped, but what I like it there are quite a few ‘single occupancy’ tables, so you don’t feel like a table hog if you’ve popped in on your own. Alternatively, the City has tonnes of nice green spaces you could take your lunch away to and enjoy. You can be certain I’ll be found in here on a regular basis, at about 4 minutes past lunchtime…
