Nice and clean rooms. Friendly staff. Slow free wifi. No shops around. At least not really close. Just a short walk to DLR station Blackwall. Airplanes coming in right above the hotel for London City Airport. Free newspapers in reception.

Pros:
The woman who took our bags the morning we arrived (too early to check in, had all day meetings) was phenomenal. She was also the person who checked us out the next morning.
The bed was quite nice, and the room had some nice spacing. Bathroom was odd (had to step up into it, so head’s up to anyone with special needs) but the shower was neat.
Cons:
If you don’t have a key card and arrive after about 8, you need to be buzzed in. Unfortunately the woman at the counter ignored the buzzer for a few minutes, and never looked up from her screen.
The free Wi-​Fi was pretty terrible (I ran a speed test and was getting 0.05 mbps). I think it’s because they want to encourage you to pay for the faster stuff.
General FYI’s:
Fyi, the rooms don’t have an iron. Odd surprise given the area is going to be booked by people likely on business trips.

Wir hatten dieses Hotel für 2 Nächte gebucht, da es in der Nähe zu ExCel London lag.
Es liegt einen Fussweg von 5 – 7 Minuten von der Docklands Station Blackwall entfernt.
Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, CheckIn ging relativ schnell.
Unser Standard Zimmer war sauber, natürlich nicht besonders groß, aber sollte nur zum schlafen gedacht sein, da wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren.
Etwas ungünstig waren die ständig knarrenden Betten und die ungünstige Konstuktion des Badezimmers. Man musste immer einen Griff kräftig ziehen oder drücken um das Badezimmer (nur Dusche) zu öffnen oder zu schließen, was sehr laut war. Dass es sehr klein ist uns man sich nur umdrehen aber nicht wirklich darin gehen konnte war uns egal, da es in London selten anders ist bei dieser Hotelkategorie.
Das Frühstück ist von 06:30 — 10:00 Uhr und war in Ordnung.
Wer etwas lärmempfindlich ist, sollte das Fenster zulassen, da man doch die umliegenden Strassen und auch Sirenen gehört hat, im Sommer ist es daher wohl nicht so günstig. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte zumindest bei uns nicht.
