Iberica have several restaurants in London, and they all serve great food. This was my first time at this location, and they did not disappoint. The lollipops are great, so is of course the iberico ham. The calamari is probably the best I’ve tasted. Tip: try the berry chirashcaraia cocktail, excellent!

This review is for the outdoor area by the fountain. It’s a really nice spot, especially on a perfect summer day but the service is abysmal. I came here after work on Friday and it took us 20 minutes to get a drink. The waiter came over to us on three separate occasions saying our drinks were on the way and he would just walk away and go to someone else. Additionally, I was standing near our table which was near the bar and a waitress tripped and spilled an entire tray of drinks down my back. I was completely saturated and my phone in my back pocket was as well. No one even apologized or offered to get me a rag or napkin. They basically ignored the fact that they spilled beer and champagne all over me. After my colleague flipped out on them they finally offered us a free round of drinks, but that was after being told off for standing near the bar(where our table was located). Thanks for the free glass of overpriced Rosé but you ruined my clothing and water damaged my iPhone. I will never go back.

I’ve been to Iberica since it first opened in Canary Wharf and at the time I found the food was indeed delicious but quite pricey as well. So this has always been a place for a treat. A while back they opened up the La Terrazza area, opposite the restaurant and off the side of the fountain in Cabot Square. They hung up some tree lights and sitting next to the fountain and water features, it just doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of Canary Wharf(till you look through the trees and see the tall buildings peeping through). So you could easily imagine you’re some where in Spain, enjoying your sangria and jamon. The bill came up to about £70 for 2 people so I still find it expensive. A jug of sangria cava, sharing platter of cured meats and cheese and a prawn tapas! So… if I’m craving Spanish, I might go back… but I’d go back to La Terrazza rather than the main restaurant!

For my first time in Canary Wharf and at Iberica La Terraza, I was very lucky, because the sky was blue and the sun was out: such a nice day to have a drink outside ! Be careful though, because the place is pretty crowded during sunny days: everybody want a dinner«al fresco». But don’t despair, the place, the drinks and the tapas are worth waiting for ! Even the waiters and waitresses are really nice and welcoming. I tried the White sangria and the Red one. I would recommend the White, so sweet, refreshing, and with a lot of fruit inside(strawberries, raspberries, orange…) And the sangria is served in a nice mason jar cup. The perfect summer drink if you ask me ;) About the pinchos and the tapas, I think it’s hard to go wrong. They serve classic planchas with great flavours but also new things I never saw, like my favourite bite of the night: a squid on garlic and parsley bread. So good !! They also have a plate with potatoes, ham and eggs: you would think it would be too simple and boring but gosh, it was the second best thing of the evening ! Is it because the fries were soaking in delicious olive oil? Don’t mind me if I finish the whole thing, I’ll care about my waist tomorrow. Sure, this place is a little bit far away from Central London, but if you’re in the area, do come by ! And I’m sure others Terraza will come in London soon… The only negative thing for me was the lack of sun, because of all the thick trees covering the place. But can we really find nature annoying? Less sun, but more green trees? Why not !

Literally the worst service I have ever received. Walked to the bar and ask if there are free tables and had repeat myself multiple times slowly. The waiter didn’t understand why I tried to order gin and tonic or Mahou. Asked us if we were eating and have us menu, then ignored us for 35 minutes. There were 3 tables in the restaurant when we entered, slowly increasing to 6 and 3 servers. Shocking.

Ibérica restaurant sets a high bar for quality Spanish food in London. The one in Canary Wharf is my favourite. A wide choice of delightful dishes on the menu: a refreshing red berries and beetroot gazpacho, succulent Ibérica pork burgers, chorizo lollipop, black risotto with seafood and alioli sauce that melts in your mouth, and tender twice-cooked lamb with marinated peppers. That’s just to name a few of quality well-cooked ingredients not overwhelmed with spices. All washed down with a jar of sparkling fruity sangria. Portion sizes are pleasingly above the average for tapas places, so it’s wise not to over-order. Leave some space for the culmination of the fiesta — a delicious«tarta de la abuela» — creamy chocolate and condensed milk dessert. Well-decorated high-ceiling premises with two mezzanine levels(one available for private parties) set a nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Would visit again? Si señor!

Fantastic tapas. I would recommend the pork(as it is definitely something you need to try in this place) and scallops because they were tremendous in flavor if you wanted to have some diversity in meat. The staff was friendly and the décor was amazing. They had a large list of wines but I stuck with the white wine sangria instead which tasted very nice.

So, at first it pained me to give this place one star, but the more I think about what happened to me here, the more I don’t even care. For the record, the décor is beautiful and unique, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Even the food tasted great. …going down. However, the tapas we had at Iberica made both me and my partner violently ill the next day, and that’s just in no way acceptable. Period. The night I ate here, each dish came out incredibly quickly, and in hindsight, it makes me wonder if they had been sitting out previously and just rewarmed instead of properly cooked on the spot. I remember quite clearly sharing a fried beef dish with my partner and upon cutting it open, seeing the melted cheese and what looked like a mushy pink center. Because the dish appeared to have cured meat inside, we picked around and ate it, and now really wish we hadn’t. Due to eating here, the very next day both of us literally spent the entire morning, afternoon and evening alternating between hugging the toilet and curled up in bed in the fetal position, miserable. It might have been a one off bad night Iberica, but for us, it was a HUGE mistake. Proper food prep and food temps are no joke. And unfortunately, it means I’ll never come back here, and will never recommend it to anyone else.

Really excellent tapas — basically traditional, but with inventive twists. Wine list is very good(try the finos). Service excellent. Attractive décor with a lively feel(not cozy though). Not cheap but not unreasonable(the lunch menus are good value). This was my second time, and will definitely be back.

I don’t like the restaurant which is across the road but the bar here is very pretty in the summer. I would not eat here as it is very over prices for what it is but the garden bar is great on a warm summer evening.

This place is a preposterously overpriced rip-off. Go there if you want to pay over the odds just to get a cool Instagram photo. Don’t expect to leave full up unless you have very deep pockets. And even then they will likely tell you they’ve run out of half the stuff on the menu…

Oh Tapas! Why are you SOSMALL? :-(And yet, some of you are quite big! How in the world am I supposed to know how many of you to order? And how am I supposed to be able to afford so many of you when you are charged at almost £10 per little plate and a light lunch(unintentionally so, damn you small portions) for 3 people with no booze and just tap water comes in at £100. Yes you ARE very nice, but if the idea is to order lots of you for everyone to have a taste, then shouldn’t there be more than two pieces of stuff on some of those plates? You, tapas, are 4 stars. Your prices and my inability to ever order the right amount to sate my hunger drags you down. Still, you’re in Canary Wharf so I presume most of the people you are fed to don’t even look at the bill and just hand over the plastic(or a few £50 notes).

Yum! We had such a good time here, and the food was all amazing, as was the alcohol. The sangria was just right, enough red wine to get me drunk, but enough simple syrup for me to not feel it happening :) The hams were amazing, excellently sliced and presented, and the portions were all the right size for our party of 6. There could have been a little bit more fried calamari, but I think we all love it so much we couldn’t stop eating it. The pork belly was amazing, as was the air cured beef. The spanish cheese plate was also delish. I’ll definitely be back here.
