Spend a night and the rooms are small but clean and comfy. It’s a great location for nearby restaurants, pubs and train station. Perfect to get to the city in no time. The staff were very helpful and nice.

Nice, budget hotel, very close to Greenwich station, rooms are made in cheap modern style, optional Wi Fi, free car park for hotel residents

I was staying in Ibis hotel for 5 days of my journey to London. Rooms made in cheap modern style, nevertheless i quite liked them. For an extra charge you can get a Wi-Fi internet in a room. There is a very nice café-restuarant next to reception, friendly staff. There was a free car park as well. It is cituated in the centre of Greenwich, right next to a Greenwich market, which is a nice place to get souvenirs cheaply. ‘d like to mention that it worth money spending, I will give it 3 stars.

Much as it’s nice to do France in central London, a slightly superior version of La Belle Pays than that offered by the Hotel Ibis wouldn’t come amiss. For £150 a night in Greenwich I think the customer could enjoy a tad more merveilleux experience. Main gripes and groans? Well, the air conditioning didn’t work(but where does it?) and was too loud(where isn’t it?). Even though I turned it off, it decided to make loud clicking noises at one point in the night(as did I). The curtains were faded and very French(two were merely decorational but you only realise this when you start pulling them off their velcro). Finally, the duvet cover was several feet longer than the duvet is that an international convention the Brits are excluded from? Those are the main issues. On the plus side the beds are perfectly comfortable, you can play your iPhone/iPod through the TV and it’s nice to have Café Rouge as the house restaurant. At Café Rouge the service seems excellent(cheery French) wherever you experience it wish other chains could achieve this. Only strange thing is that if you pre-book a cooked breakfast through Ibis you MUST have a traditional English cooked breakfast. You’re not allowed to choose anything else on the Café Rouge menu. Tant pis, as we say, tant pis. Come on Ibis, I’m sure you can do a little better than this.

I understand that this is a budget hotel and all, but our room smelled of smoke, the hand soap reeked, and the beds are quite hard. It was nice that they provide a kettle and a couple tea bags and the location is really good, but the quality is budget at best.
