I drop in regularly for my lunch. After the new manager took over in Feb/Mar 2013 the menu expanded and the coffee was changed to something drinkable(it’s actually pretty good). The menu is a bit confusing though so it helps to know what you want. They do some excellent salads. Big portions and they’re happy to customize it for you, so add or subtract as needed. It does have the appearance of something homemade vs restaurant made though, so don’t be too caught up in how it comes out. They also do a few homemade options like a homemade spaghetti bolognese, roast and goulash, but again — they’re not always available or well advertised.

Ate there today after a recommendation and my regular Artisan café was closed due to a fire above. I ordered the chicken salad. No price on the board. No description of what was in it except the girl pointed to a photo on the wall saying it looks like that. Well it came out not really looking as good as the photo. The chicken salad was a spoonful of chopped chicken in mayonnaise, lots of ice berg lettuce, a scrapping of avocado and over priced at £6.50. Not what I expected. I doubt I’ll be going back.
