New Italian handbag store on Chiltern Street! It smells of beautiful, well-​oiled, expensive leather. Mmmmmmmmm.
I’ve been waiting for Hideaway to open for several weeks as I saw the paper in the windows and walk by daily after exiting at Baker Street Station. Finally, it was open the other night so I popped my head in to say hello.
The bags are mostly all from Italy, and priced as you might assume on posh Chiltern Street. They are of very high quality. The woman running the shop was eager to help me and gave me details on many of the items.
Also a small scattering of scarves and other accessories on offer.
I didn’t find anything I ‘had to have’ on this particular trip, but I’ll be stopping back in to see new stock and keep tabs on how these guys are getting on!
