This place is a scam. I had a Groupon for a cut and Brazilian Blowdry. Ater being kept waiting 45 minutes, the process started. But they bizarrely rinsed out all the product. The girl then asked if I wanted it blowdried! What? The treatment title gave a clue.. . Of course it was supposed to be blowdried. No straightening tool was used at all. Result: after one wash at home, my hair is back to its original state. HORRIBLE place. Rude girls who insist on babbling on in Portuguese in the presence of non-​speaking clients. SCAM treatment.

Can completely agree with what Rebecca G has said– exactly the same story with my Brazilian. I had it on Groupon and has complained to them afterwards– Hair by Ida are fraudsters — this is definitely NOT Brazilian blow dry they are doing. And my hair feels like it has been softed by some chemical and more fly away than ever after as a result, nothing in common with the usual Brazilian I have had many times.

Avoid this place at all costs
I bought an online deal for this place for a full set of highlights, cut and blow dry. I was looking forward to getting my hair done. I arrived on time for my appointment to be greeted with a look that implied I was an inconvenience. A hand gesture suggested I should sit. That was the last aknowlegement I would get for another half an hour. Eventually I was brought to a seat and left there for another 40 minutes. During this time another customer came in and was seen straight away. When I complained I was told her appointment was actually a half an hour before mine and that they were running late — no apology though.
Evenually I was seen by a girl who immediately excused herselt to go to the toilet and then proceeded to sneeze and sniff her way through putting in my highlights — she considerately donned a surgical mask but neglected to wash her hands.
When they got around to cutting my hair they took way too much off so I can’t even say that at least they did a good job.
Throughout the appointment no one took my coat, I eventually found a place to hang it myself and I wasn’t offered so much as a glass of water the entire time I was there.
To top it all off they insisted I pay another £10 because my hair was long despite the fact there was no mention of this before or during the appointment or anywhere on the voucher. It didn’t help that they spoke very little english and couldn’t converse with me at all.
I will never set foot in this place again and would advise everyone to give it a wide berth.
