Gurkhas Flavour

Really like the Gurkha’s Flavour. Okay the dècor is rustic and it’s a small venue but the Nepalese food is interesting and tasty. The table linen is spotless and we’ve always found service to be friendly and courteous. Can recommend.

Absolutely outstanding curries. We’re new to the area and ordered for collection as you get 10% off your order for picking it up (and we’re just around the corner). We also grabbed a gold card membership online so we can get points toward free meals. New members get £5 a meal in the restaurant, too.
The food itself is delicious. We ordered the Chili Lamb and Masa Bhutwa as our mains, with vegetable momos, a garlic naan, and their pilau rice as sides. We received free papadoms and mint yoghurt sauce with our order. The portion sizes were a little smaller than our old curry house, but they made up for it in quality and flavour.
The Chili Lamb packs a huge punch. It was incredibly spicy and full of flavour, but definitely not for the weak of stomach. Holy moly. For serious spice-​lovers, only. Masa Bhutwa was milder, with a little kick but nothing crazy. It was very flavourful and we devoured it with haste. The naan was lovely and slightly charred (as we like to see — and definitely not cooked from frozen!), with great garlicky zing. The rice was aromatic and perfectly cooked. And the momos — yum! (If you’re not familiar with them, think: samosa filling in a Chinese style dumpling). Very good filling, and the dumpling wasn’t too chewy or too weak to hold up to dunking in sauce.
We will certainly be ordering regularly from these guys. Friendly service, excellent food, and very reasonable prices. Will be hard to justify going anywhere else!

The staff were friendly and the food was pretty good. It’s a small restaurant though I don’t remember it being particularly dirty as mentioned in other reviews.

Went here last night for my annual football club curry. Service was pleasant if a little slow although there were 20 of us. However the surprise was the quality and tastiness of the food. A good find.

We love this place food is great and service is fantastic. Highly recomend eatting in but the takeaway is fab as well
