never see a restaurant/​coffee shop like this! the ataff there were not allowed us to order food for sharing. the person in charge said ’ we need to keep our profit so you guys have to order food separately!’ my friend and i shocked about this ‘term and condition’! so we have to order two dishes but for real we just want to have a rest not to eat a full meal!!!
for the food, it’s probably lower than average standard.
i don’t know how other customers think but i will definitely not go there again and not recommend!!!

Great coffee and very nice little cakes. They serve Volcano coffee which is hard to find in this neck of the woods. The staff are really nice and get to know your order quickly so you can earn the title of ‘a regular’.
Great recommendations on the filter coffee and a good selection of pastries and other sweet nick nacks.
Very nice in the summer but also good as a quick coffee pick up on the way to work or at lunch.

i found this place a bit randomly thanks to Unilocal after a meeting nearby!
It was a sunny day so I had the opportunity to get my lunch on their outside terrace which was nice as located in a quiet street (rare these days in crazy London) near a park. I got the wrap with humous that was nice, fresh and filling with a proper tea! it could me my new spot each time i come to this nice area of London!
staff were very friendly and service was perfect!

We went to grub on the green as per a recommendation from the Airbnb we stayed with and its great for breakfast. Excellent service. Amazing breakfast potatoes and eggs and bacon. I recommend one of the combos. Great outdoor setting near an awesome Christopher wren church as well

I’ve had breakfast at Grub twice now, and their breakfast is scrumptious. For one thing, their bread is fresh and warm and gently buttered, making their breakfast egg sandwiches and baps *so good*. A lovely, newly renovated space, Grub has fresh and healthy food and wifi, making it a great place to pop in to for some food and work. This is the local coffee shop that Clerkenwell has needed!
