Green Bar at Hotel Café Royal

Excellent location and a very high end service is what makes this place special.
The menu has a very good selection of drinks. It also have a rather large food selection. I am guessing they get their food selection from the hotel restaurant, which is exactly a wall away from the bar.
They treat everyone as a VIP.

I’ve been here several times now, and I really think from the bottom of my heart that no one should come here. Why? Because I don’t want this place ending up my last awesome place that has gone severely downhill due to too many customers. I love Green Bar, and I want to keep it that way.
The drinks are kind of expensive, but most of them are worth it. The name of the bar is indicative of the amount of Absinthe they have in their cocktails and in the bar itself. The Pimms Cup with Absinthe is literally the best thing ever. But you can just get the absinthe with water and enjoy it that way too. Or they have other interesting and unique non-​Absinthe cocktails if your heart doesn’t go that way.
Plus the free nibbles with the drinks are awesome. Mixed nuts? YES please. Crisps? Oh Yes! Olives? MORE PLEASE!
So don’t come here. Go somewhere else. Let me keep my awesome bar. Please?

I enjoyed my limited time at the Green Bar, but would come back for another drink another day.
We were killing time before a meal on one of London’s legendary sunny days that happen once every 200 years, and were looking for a nice place to get a nice drink outside. It had to be outside.
Enter the Green Bar.
There is a beautiful posh inside portion but we spent almost no time there. We were sat outside and enjoyed our drinks outside and that was perfect for us. Nice tables, great people watching, perfect for what we were looking for,
It’s a classy place and that comes with classy prices. The cocktails were incredibly well made and the service impeccable (even being seated all the way at the end of the line of tables, far from the main door, we were checked on constantly.) A drink will probably run you about £12, maybe a little more or less depending on what you get, but it will be made well and a great chance to sip.
Also, they came out with nibbles: crisps and delicious mixed nuts. A nice touch.
Would I drink here all the time? Could I drink here all the time. Probably not. But would I come back on another sunny day. Unquestionably yes.
