Grange Portland Hotel

The Portland (Grange group) is a very good and very centrally located. The British museum close by as is Russell Square being the nearest tube station to this hotel. A very good location everywhere that you need to go in the West End, Soho and all surrounding areas.

Well this lovely hotel seems to have escaped a review. Staffed by foreign nationals all are very polite and friendly. The décor and homely feel gives it a 5 star guest house ambiance to it. Part of the Grange Group of hotels with the Clarendon and Buckingham next door. I had the front room overlooking the st on the first floor with a balcony aspect, large king bed, safe in room, even a kitcehettte hidden behind wardrobe type doors all in the dressing room area of this fab room. Very modern and warm feel to the place. Have already booked next stay at the one next door just to compare. But they appear same from outside and the breakfast room for all is served in the Clarendon (middle of these 3 hotels).
