Great burgers, the meat was perfectly cooked. Quick and nice service. Loved the chocolate milkshake. I recommend !

Gourmet Burger Kitchen es una buena opción para comer bien y por un precio razonable en la zona de Kensington. El lugar es pequeño pero está muy bien ambientado con una onda retro, y la atención es excelente.
Fui dos veces durante mi estadia en Londres y en ambas ocasiones salí muy satisfecha. La primera vez pedí una GBK Salad que viene con palta, tomate, hojas verdes y semillas y un dressing de mostaza muy rico. Estuvo muy rica pero por casi 7 libras es un poco escasa. La segunda oportunidad decidí ir por la estrella del lugar y pedí una cheeseburger con cheddar y papas fritas y me encantó. Tienen también hamburguesas veggie que son muy buenas. Además. la carta ofrece una variedad decente de vinos y cervezas y postres que no probé.
Sin dudas volvería a este lugar muchas veces más.

Had the California burger which consists of avocado, fried black bean patty, cheddar, red onions, mayo, relish, lettuce on a brioche bun. It was probably one of the best veggie burgers I’ve had due to the the tasty fried black bean patty. It didn’t taste too greasy and felt unexpectedly light. Along with that we shared a GBK salad and chunky fries. Both nice.
The workers do well clearing out tables in a timely fashion for the next party and orders brought out promptly.
We arrived right at dinner time and all tables were occupied so it did feel a bit tight. If I turned around I was uncomfortably close to our neighbors plate so when we left and I turned around to grab my purse hanging off my chair, I felt intrusively close.
This is my second visit to this chain and we left with our bellies full and very satisfied.

My family and I really enjoyed eating here. The burgers were good! And perfect size. I also really liked the fizzy drinks and free refill.
The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I had the BACON PESTERELLA with a side of sweet potatoes. OMG !!!

Very good burgers! There is a great selection on their menu, so there’s something for everyone’s preferences. My favourite is the Camemburger with camembert, hash brown, truffle mayo, onion jam, relish, and brioche bun.

Le gourmet burger Kitchen est une chaîné. Je né connaissais pas et je suis rentrée ici attirée par une décoration sympa, et la certitude de trouver de quoi me restaurer. La wifi gratuite et les cacahouètes m’ont permis de patienter jusqu’à l’arrivée de mon burger et de mon milkshake.
Je recommande le Veggie Californian! Le patty (remplacement du steak) était une vraie tuerie. Les petits oignons frits également. Un peu plus de cheddar aurait été le bienvenu! Le milkshake salted caramel vaut également le coup, bien que je n’ai pas de point de comparaison!
Un peu cher cependant. Le service, ni désagréable ni particulièrement agréable, est plutôt efficace!
Ce n’est pas mon adresse fétiche, mais je n’hésiterai pas à y emmener quelqu’un si je passé dans le coin!

De très bon burgers! Nous avons pris un burger simple au chedar ainsi qu’un au bleu. Les frites étaient également très bonnes. Je recommande pour un repas rapide et assez copieux.

Staff was very friendly, music wasnt to loud and the burger was good. Meat: perfectly cooked and very tasty. The sauces was AMAZING! We had the smoked chili mayo and baconaise, both where very good! Skinny fries and chunky fries: both chrispy and tasty. Only minus was the buns, they didnt taste homemade, but all together it was very good. Have to mention the strawberry and elderflower fizz: soooo good!!! And u get free refill!

The burgers were just outstanding! So good.
I also tried the veggie burgers and they were amazing as well.
The one I tried was the California, and it didn’t disappoint. It’s was good, tasty and light at the same time. Loved it.
They also serve really good onion rings, crispy and sweet. So so tasty.
The place is kind of small and so are the tables, which makes me think that this place could use some restructuring to renovate the interiors.
Once you are handed the menus you have to go at the counter and tell the waiter what you would like to order. I guess this could be kind of a bummers since you have to stand up and go to the counter every time you want to order something. Also everything must be paid in advance. I don’t really like it when it’s like that.
But besides these last things: my god this is a place to try out. Can’t wait to go back.

Ya may need to undo yer belt a couple notches for this place; Burgers, Milkshakes and Fries!!! Big and Bloody (anyway you like ‘em)… surprisingly classic but a great find in London.
They’ll top off the burger with a pile of bacon and a fried egg.. totally delicious and absolutely NOT good for the waste-​line.. :)
Biggy Yum-​Factor

Pricy, but great burgers, chicken and the skinny fries are great. Free water is a nice plus. They know how to cook a burger medium versus well done.
If you like place and will go back get their app and then you’ll get free food and if you go to the same location over more than 10 times you’ll get 25% for a month.

Auf jeden Fall besser als McDonalds. Der Lamm-​Burger war wirklich gut. Das Personal war auch gut aufgelegt.

Good Burger but slightly overcooked. Brioche Bun fell apart while eating. Really okay for a quick bite!

Modern and Hip little place. Delicious burgers at a fair price. Friendly servers. Free water carafes and peanuts. Would rate it 5 stars but the corn we ordered was charred black on one side and pretty dry.
But otherwise great the Frenchie burger was a delight!

Before my trip I’d already looked at some online menus and I liked Gourmet Burger Kitchen’s one s on the last day of my trip I decided to have a go.
After entering I was asked wether I’d been before and they explained that you had to go upto the bar for ordering. After looking at the menu I opted for a cheeseburger (got to choose between 3 types of cheese&got to shoose how I wanted my burger (well done), chips with garlicky mayo, onion-​rings and a banana milkshake.
I was free to then take some water and nuts whilst waiting for the food to arrive. The milkshake came pretty quick and it was delicious. But rather huge, whilst I was able to finish the lovely burger once it had arrived I left about half of the chips&onion rings. Was tempted to ask for a doggy bag but felt too embarrassed to do so. Still lovely food and would happily go back, but next time I’ll probably just have a burger&a milkshake
Oh whilst you had to pay for the garlicky mayo (and other sauces) the ketchup was free

Everything at GBK was absolutely satisfactory the staff were pleasant, the cheese & bacon burger did all the things you’d expect a cheese & bacon burger to do, and at £9, the price was definitely surmountable. Nothing about the experience really stood out, though, and despite the wide selection, presentation and general attention to detail, our evening at the Gourmet Burger Kitchen was lacking a certain je né sais quio. On the other hand, maybe that’s needlessly negative because there was certainly nothing wrong with food, service, or décor. I guess it’s just that when you’re as spoiled for choice as you are in London, any restaurant that doesn’t make you long to go back will get left in the lurch.

Gourmet Burger Kitchen is one of the places we traditionally visit when visiting in London.
Last time I ordered the Cheese&Bacon Burger without the bun (well, actually I let my boyfriend order for me .) and i got the burger and instead of the bun i got some cole slaw and mixed salad with it.
So great!
I had some of the rosmary fries too, which are great.
I’m already looking forward to our next visit in London and the Gourmet Burger Kitchen :)

Accidentally found this place when all of the pubs in the area stopped serving food at 10pm. We tried 2 of the 4 veggie burgers on the menu and they were some of the best we’ve ever had. Love «the Billy» especially. Skinny Rosemary fries and dipping sauces are also worth the stop. Would come here all the time if we lived in England.

Good all-​around burger joint. Not quite as delicious as I was expecting, but not bad, either. The milkshakes were very good, and the chocolate chips mixed in the chocolate milkshakes were a really nice touch! The chunky fries were just average.
I wasn’t a really big fan of the style of ordering, though. It’s a weird mix of a sit-​down restaurant and fast-​food. They should choose one or the other.

Fresh and quality hamburgers with nice fries homemade.
A nice restaurant however a bit cold in winter, really should turn on the central heat. However, a very pleasant moment spent in this restaurant. the waiters are very nice also.

Decent burger chain.
LA is one of America’s premier burgertowns in the premier burgercountry. That said, I wasn’t too disappointed with the quality here and theres one big reason why I’ve kept coming back.
I got the ‘cheese” which is just a cheeseburger. They have many more interesting options including the «Babaganoush”-Peter’s secret recipe with mashed aubergines blended with tahini & spices and the «Kiwiburger”-beetroot, egg, pineapple, cheese, salad, mayonnaise & relish among others.
The meat was nice, thick and of high quality. They cooked it just as I ordered it at medium.
However there were two things that turned me off. The cheese was just not that flavorful, and what flavor it did had was quite peculiar. It was «aged cheddar» instead of american or sharp cheddar most american burgers come with. Secondly, the bun had all sorts of seeds and flavors on it that made it more like an «everything» bagel than a normal burger bun.
The real reason why I really like this place is not that they have awesome burgers, but that they have a card for 40%(!) off all food for students.
A great deal and a great reason why I will be heading here even though I miss the quality of In N’ Out, The Apple Pan, Father’s Office, The Library, Umami, the Habbit and others back in LA.

Been here in the UK a few weeks. This was the 1^st restaurant where the service was rude and the food was poor, I guess good luck ends at some point.
The salad was nice, but the burger was brought out right after ordering (pre-​made?) After pointing out that I had ordered a cold dish (starter salad) and a hot dish, could they have said it would all come out in 2 minutes? They said they do it that way (like McDonalds? pre-​made?)
I wolfed down my salad, which was lovely with my red wine (a bit skunky, but not too bad otherwise). By the time I finished the salad, the burger was rock hard. I asked again if they could fix this mistake. They said it wasn’t a mistake and finally took it (without my permission) and threw it on the grill. It ended up as rubber texture, which was inedible unless you like super well done. Finally, I ate none of it and asked once again if they would fix it or remove it, the manager said no. I said, please take a bite and tell me it is good and I will happily pay. She wouldn’t, in spite of my not eating it at all. Finally, I paid and left to buy a proper burger with good service at Byron’s, about 5 blocks away at Cromwell and Gloucester.

The name says it all: gourmet burgers.
I had the blue cheese (with Stilton dressing) and it was super tasty. Plus the chunky fries. The burgers were artfully designed. I wish I saved my photo but I was really hungry that evening.
The place was hopping!

Tasty, pricey burgers.
We tried this place in the advice of an ex-​pat living in the neighborhood. We were looking for a quick bite before our flight & were told the burgers here are huge and delicious so we stopped in. You go up to the counter, order your burger & beverage then choose your seat. I had a delicious bacon & avocado turkey burger. The burger was quite large and definately filling, the chips were pretty lame however.
If you feel like a big burger with a bunch of topping options & don’t mind parting with a few extra £‘s for lunch this isn’t a bad place.

Ja, der Service ist okay und an dem Lokal nichts auszusetzen. Geht auch schnell. Aber ich finde, das Essen ist irgendwie nichts besonderes. Also auf jeden Fall frisch, aber irgendwie nichts besonderes. Und ich hab schon zwei Burger dort probiert.
