A Welsh pub apparently, and it looks like it could be alright. but the Welsh beer I had was poor and it certainly wasn’t worth braving the locals, one of whom told me to f… off as I was not a regular. I didn’t care to discuss further cos unlike a few other people propping up the bar I rather like having all my teeth, so retired to a quiet corner… for a very very quick swig.
Very much a local pub for local people!

Ah the Egg of Goldeness, lovely little pub, one the last of the Kilburn old men pubs, and has a real community feel, one of the reasons I like Kilburn so much. It’s a little dirty, it’s a little naughty, in terms of the clientele but I like these guys. I was talking to one guy who was complementing me on my tweed jacket. The same man said we were the same people, failed to see how this was possible. He’s 70-​odd, short and Irish, and me… Well I’m big, black and ugly. Turned out he meant ideologically, which I appreciate seeing as there is a multi-​generational age gap. Back to the Pub itself, I like it because they remember your name and drink as well your football team. The staff really great and friendly and are nice too you with the extras and stuff and they think they live in Eastenders. Some of their practices are slightly archaic, it is one of the reasons I love this country.

great little drinking place we went here for coffee and to just pass some time, its very nice, they do serve food aswell, we just got some snacks which were quite nice

nice pub very spacious room for games. lots of snug corners. food is ok usual pub grub. whether you are out for a drink or a coffee everyone is always welcome. cleanest tiolets in Kilburn.
