Giovanni Pizza & Pasta

Food is nice; however is nothing amazing in comparison to rival Italian restaurants. The service is awful– my boyfriend and I were ignored for a good ¹⁵⁄₂₀ minutes when we first sat down, having not even received a drink menu. The waiter was rude and dismissive and did not allow us to order starters separately, prior to our main, which was ridiculous! He consistently walked away while we were asking him questions and ignored us several times while we attempted to get his attention. We both felt tense throughout the whole meal and they put us in the cramped corner as apparently there was no where else although we could see a table free upstairs. It felt like to us they were dismissive as we were young and clearly were not going to spend as much money as other guests; very disappointed and will not be returning.

the pizzas are to die for here. they will even do a takeaway service much better value than the high street chains these are baked in an authentic Italian pizza oven and the price is right

Giovanni’s offers great food & value for money. They are always happy to accomodate parties aswell as small groups. Excellent food at Excellent prices, makes this a fab venue for parties as the bill doesnt ruin the whole great evening that you have just had !

Giovanni is the best value restaurant in the Winchmore Hill area.
