Food wise this place is absolutely everything you could wish for and more! Its really about serving homemade kind of plates that I find typically British. The woman working there did make a ‘mistake’ by giving me back 3,50 after handing her a 20 to pay for my 6,50 quid meal. Because she acted super rushed I did not notice this until after I sat down waiting for my breakfast — I went back and got my tenner but there was something really odd as for how it all went down. Regardless, the food is bomb

Great place for breakfast! Had the breakfast special with eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, and coffee, £4.95. The server from Portugal was so friendly and kind. Just outside of the metro station, very convenient!

Love Love Love!!! Gino’s Coffee Bar is a prime example of a niche place that is doing what they do right. Across from Marylebone Station, this little coffee shop caters mainly to busy commuters, construction workers, lunching friends and locals. You will always be greeted by a smiling Italian man with a giant handlebar moustache. I’m not sure if this is Gino, himself, but he looks like Super Mario and even pays homage to the character with a little action figure on his cash register– so maybe his name is Mario. Whatever the case, this man is always smiling, singing and welcoming people into the shop. It can get really busy around noon, but the service is fast and furious: You place your order with Mario/Gino and he gives you a number. About 5 minutes later one of the efficient waitresses will appear with your food. I was staying at the London Landmark which is right next door, so I either stopped in for one of their amazing Americanos each morning or had a full sit down Breakfast or Lunch almost every day. I had the breakfast Special twice with delicious fresh eggs, rashers, sausage and toast. The Liver and Chips was great, too. This is not fine dining, but proper coffee shop fare done the way it’s supposed to be. This place does everything from all day breakfast, to Sandwiches and Salads. When the crowd dies down, you can hear Gino/Mario singing along with the radio. Great value(breakfast with coffee for 2 ran us just under 9 pounds), great food and amazing service. Even if my next stay in London finds me out of this neighbourhood. I will be back for a visit.

This is my regular coffee hit on the way to work in the mornings, perfect if you’re coming from Marylebone station. Half the price of the station concessions and because it’s’ run by an Italian family you get a decent coffee. And it stays hot, which seems to be optional in a takeaway drink these days! Food wise it is your standard English breakfast fare, so don’t expect a gourmet experience and you won’t be disappointed. You don’t’ have to sit down to eat, they will do you breakfast on the go if you’re in a hurry, I’ve even seen customers ask for toast to take out — with of course your favourite topping. Mostly I LOVE this place for the service, as soon as I walk in the door I get a nod and my drink is made before I reach the counter. They really know their regulars here and look after them. All in all this is an early morning commuters paradise.

My parents love this place and eat here every time they’re in London. It’s small, cheap and makes a perfect fry up.

My husband and I were on honeymoon in London and came across this coffee bar near our hotel. It was a busy crowd in the morning and we thought that was a good sign. Prices were fair and I loved the hot chocolate I ordered. However, Brits are not known for their food and it was evident in their breakfast. I ordered the breakfast ‘sandwich’ which came out on two pieces of BREAD; not toast, bread. The ‘bacon’ is definitely not like how you’d expect it(crisp, not so fatty and moist). Overall, not a bad place for coffee or drinks but I’d shy away from the food.

The chips are rubbish, food generally reasonable, but I have found bones in sandwiches. Prices about average, not many tables.

The first thing you see when exiting Marylebone station is Gino’s café. If you have managed to avoid all the eateries coming through the station this one might tempt you. The sign outside proudly mentions its in the Top 50 Café in London. The sign looks like its been there for 10 years but thought I would give it a go. The owner(Gino or Gino junior) is an eccentric fellow with one heck of a moustache. I had a slight worry about moustache hair dropping into my bacon and egg roll. But I needn’t have worried the roll was excellent. The range of food options is very extensive, every breakfast imaginable and lots of other food options. It closed recently for a refurbishment and I must say it looks a lot better and fits in with its surroundings. Gone are the plastic replica’s of what bacon and eggs looks like in the window. Its got a nice finished feel now with a glass display cabinet and filled rolls on offer. Its good to see Gino has moved with the times.
