I was so looking forward to my appointment since I had always wanted to try Aveda colour. It was my first time at this salon and I was hoping to make it my regular place. However, when I arrived, I was told that the stylist assigned to me was ill, they were waiting for someone to come in to take his place and they should be along shortly. I waited NEARLY 90 MINUTES for the replacement stylist and was approached by at least 4 different stylists thinking I was another customer, which only came to light about 5 minutes in to each conversation. I was recovering from major surgery from a couple of weeks before and had to drive to the salon, so I during my wait for the stylist, I was starting to panic about getting a parking ticket and was very uncomfortable due to the surgery and having to sit around for so long.
The replacement stylist finally arrived and she was brilliant, however, when the cut and colour was finished, I went to pay and honestly was expecting a decent discount since they made me wait nearly 90 minutes and I got a parking ticket to boot!
The female manager was extremely rude and initially refused to offer me any sort of discount or cover the cost of the parking ticket, but she finally relented and gave a paltry £20 off after I stated I wasn’t going to pay the full price and wanted an actual manager (she made up an excuse to not get them). I questioned why no one called me to let me know my appt. would be delayed. I stated that surely most people who come to the salon are relatively local (I live 10 min away) and postponing an appt would be far better than forcing a client to arrive and sit around wasting their time. I regret not making her get the owner I had seen in the salon earlier since the whole experience was ruined and stressed me out — I was in tears when I left. She even had the audacity to flippantly say that my cut and colour looked fantastic after I told her that my whole experience at the salon was ruined by their lack of care for clients.
After speaking to several stylist friends, they were all shocked that the salon didn’t comp my cut & colour since they had me waiting for so long — all said that if anything similar were to happen in their salons, they would never, ever consider charging the client.
Am hugely disappointed since the stylist I did wind up with was brilliant and would love to be her client, but the experience left such a bad feeling with me, that I cannot give this salon any more of my hard-​earned money.

Do not go here! I went to this salon with clear instructions. Please dye my hair one shade darker. I even came in with photos. One shade darker should be a relatively easy task to complete well. Not here. Even after speak to the stylist at length and showing him all the various photos, he managed to dye my hair black. I was obviously furious and this was preceded by the same stylist applying a colour lifter to my hair. twice. each time it burned. I was then told that there was no time to cut my hair, even though I had booked in for a haircut, and when I complained about the payment (they still charged me £140) I was told that the colour looked better than what I had asked for and no discount would be applied. Suffice to say I will never go back and I ended up spending more money with another stylist to fix their mess!

2– good quality products (shampoos and hair colours)
Negatives
1– pricy
2– staff who are mainly expats don’t seem very experienced when it comes to hair colour in case you need to change your hair colour this is definitely not the place to go to
But if you prefer to go for similar look, colour over and over again then you are safe there because they don’t take risks and they don’t have creativity
Will still go to there because I am after hair colours that are primarily natural

Wow-​what a wonderful treat! I found this place on Unilocal when I searched facial as my skin was becoming red and blotchy and dry in the London cold! I am so happy that I did. Gosia gave me a fabulous facial and eyebrow wax-​she really seemed to understand my skin and while the mask was soaking in, she didn’t leave the room… she actually gave me the choice of a foot, hand or scalp massage. What a tough choice! Hands please.
She also gave me an eyebrow wax-​and was a perfectionist with the tweezers. She took her time as though she was an artist. Now for the 5 stars… I went to check out and the manager asked how I was on time. As my children both had after school activities, I was fine on time:). He asked if I would like a complimentary blow dry to get me ready for the weekend. Why yes, I would LOVE that. I was shown to a chair and asked if I would like anything to drink and a complimentary neck massage. Has anyone ever said no to a complimentary neck massage? Pure heaven… the hair washing chairs, the products and the people working in this wonderful place made me feel like queen for the day – a VIP at the very least. You have a new customer!

Great haircut from Jesse and great place for a bikini wax– a little pricey, but definitely worth it!!!

This hairdresser was a huge disappointment! First I had Gary to cut my hair. Although I had explained in great length what I wanted he did not cut it well and I had to go for a re-​do, which is such a waste of time. I had my hair done in the past for several years by and fantastic hairdresser who moved to the US and Gary truly is far away from my previous hairdresser’s league. Gary’s skills are less than mediocre. My colour (semi-​permanent) also done by Gary was ok. However, when I had it done again by one of the stylists, who apparently has had hairdressing experience for over 8 years, it was a disaster lots of grey hair underneath not covered, colour on the hair around the face not applied properly I had to constantly remind him not to smear colour on my ear/​face/​neck. When I asked for a re-​do, John at reception gave me an appointment, only to phone me a few days later to tell me, Gary will not do the colour and I am very demanding! Well, get the job done properly, then there is no need to be demanding! AVOID this hairdresser at all cost!
