Italian pasta and salads are their claim to fame, though a bit pricey for that dodgier part of town. The food isn’t anything to rave about nor are the portions impressive. There are very few grab-and-go options in the immediate area except for the Pret just next door. You can always opt for proper sit-down restaurants in Gabriel’s Wharf further to the west.

Good customer service is hard to come by. Fratelli is run by a sweet Italian man and you feel like you are being welcomed into the home of your favorite uncle. He’s such a character and will banter back and forth with customers, offering treats and tips. It is like being in the midst of a warm, family sitcom. Minus the laugh track. Almost better than the service is the food. My personal fave is the 5.25 breakfast special: heap of scrambled eggs, slices of smoked salmon, toast and an Americano. For lunch they have lovely sandwich and salad offerings for the office crowd.
