OK, I admit that I may have a disproportionate attraction to Frankie and Benny’s as a chain, probably a childhood nostaglia thing. It’s a great place for breakfast (brunch), lunch and dinner (and after dinner cocktails). But let’s admit, they are all much alike… if not identical.
Which is why the service counts, and I have to say that this F&B’s is pretty exceptional in my opinion. The waiting staff have always been courteous, and through some very busy rush hours, have still been prompt and helpful. The food here is cooked to a high standard, and generally there is a more ‘individual’ feel here. Recommended!

We probably go to Frankie & Benny’s twice a month, We get a great level of service nearly all the time, and the food has always been spot on — one bad experience with the serving last week, and it was rectified by the manager very quickly. The place is child friendly, which is great; and the fact they don’t serve real ales means I’m not likely to bump in to any of my customers there — meaning a night off is a night off.
The portion sizes are always good, the staff are always happy and genuinely nice, and the fact you can see the kitchen is a big plus!

Calls itself a New York Italian Restaurant and Bar. Nice enough place, no real ale, Very family orientated, kids menu and parties can be arranged. Cocktails and wine seem to be the main drinks for the adults. Coffee also available. Food looks good, though i didn’t try it.
