Great place, live music, pizza, dancefloor, covered outdoor with comfy seating area.

Good pizza at bargain prices. The only bad part was they had a cola problem and had bought in a load of economy bottles to make up for it. Only a one off so all in all excellent.

Used to go here back in the early eighties for their cockernee singalongs. Went in back in June and saw that mungo hi fi and prince fatty were playing. Went along with mrs and the kids’ mates and it was even better than I hoped. The garden out the back is a real oasis. Left at four very happy. Like you wish pubs in Lewisham were

Great pub and even better because they accept the Free Beer App! Really great atmosphere, and great live music venue. Awesome hidden beer garden at the back in case you want to escape the noise. What I love most is the people in the venue. Awesome

Please move. Just a few doors down. Closer to the town centre. Don’t change anything, just don’t be on that weird corner, kind of in-between everything. I love this pub. Absolutely love this pub. But I barely go. I’m to lazy to go that way, that annoying spot. I’m sorry I can’t be a more loyal customer, but no. This place has fantastic drink offers, mega cheap. It also has good deals on food, especially a goodun on a pizza. The food isn’t too shabby either, just exceeding expectations of pub grub. It’s a dark, rock-y-esk bar. Plenty of bonkette and table seating. Pool table and little stage. It makes it the perfect venue for bands, live music and performances. There is a great and large beer garden and quirky toilets. I’ve always had fast and efficiant service from the bar staff and it’s one of those rare pubs where I go in and spend a lot of time choosing what to have. I don’t just look at the place and go… ugg whatever, beer please. There is always something that catches my eye. Go marketing team. With a variety of events, there’s a lot going on to entice the crowds… perhaps more local crowds.

I love being here, yesterday there was a live music, the band(I do not remember the name) was good and the atmosphere was great. The beer is cheaper than the most pubs in the area and their garden is a very nice place to relax after work. I‘m going there on Monday to check the quiz night, it is going to be fun :)

Very friendly pub with a good range of beers which are well kept and great bar staff. There’s a very popular pub quiz, music nights show-casing bands and a great garden with resident cats! Oh there’s the knitting group too. This isn’t a pub with a great food menu but they do a good pizza as well as pies…

Slightly over the top review from JB. Yes it is a decent friendly oasis in a barren area but not 5 stars worth!

One of the best pubs in SE London. Great music and people. They now also sell a bad ass pizza menu. Bosh!

Was even better back in the day! This is a really nice pub that is very Rock, most the people who go in there are also very rock dressed, and you do get a great variety of people. they have live acts quite a bit, but do charge an entrance fee sometimes when they do. the drinks are reasonably priced and there is ample seating. this pub used to be a right old fashioned pub and have wood shavings on the floor and all but not its a bit more modem, but only a bit. still most the seating is what you expect to see in a church. But this is a really good night out if u like loud good music,

An oasis for all things musical located at the end of Lewisham High Street this pub is a great venue to catch some of the borough’s highly talented musical acts. The Fox and Firkin is a lively venue which is also home to one of the areas largest beer gardens. The pub largely plays host to a rock/indie crowd and is a lynchpin of support for many of South East London’s burgeoning music scene. Watch out for yearly(sometimes bi-annual) Foxfest, an all day music festival featuring over 30 bands across two days.

Awesome venue for alternative live music, best in the south east. Fantastic live music thursdays and saturdays. Decent beer garden as mentioned and generally a really friendly crowd of nice people.

The Fox and Firkin is a rock orientated pub that hosts an impressive roster of up and coming bands and DJ’s. I seem to remember it being a pretty a cheap bar and there’s a decent beer garden for summer evenings.
