The place has an extensive range of wine from all over the world, great food, attentive service and reasonable prices. I liked sitting outdoors and watch people walk by and reading the paper. They also have ice cream fridge that was very much needed on a hot day like today. Lovely place and will go there again

I always try to buy wine from independent retailers whenever possible(rather than the handy supermarkets popping up everywhere) and corks is a great example. They have a pretty decent selection of wines and a vast array of bottled beers and ales at the backI find myself wishing they did more spirits and mixers thoughthey have a woefully short supply of those. However, the friendly service, the extras like tasting evenings and the availability of tables and chairs outside to sit and eat food from related ‘Forks’ next door make it worth a visit.

I didn’t eat here but the array of cheeses is amazing and the menu looks great. The lady behind the counter was very friendly too

This is a nice store where you can combine fancy-grocery shopping with having a yummy lunch or simply a cup of coffee. In fact, their ready-made sandwiches are quite nice if you’re headed for the Heath and still need a little something to munch on. Most of the stuff you can buy in the grocery section is targeted to the North London Yuppies: organic flours, biscuits, high-quality meats and cold-cuts as well as a quite decent selection of cheeses. That being said, you probably could get them for cheaper somewhere else, but given the location and the cuteness of this store, I guess they can charge these prices. What I particularly like about this place is that they have really nice bread — and not only the all-so fashionable French baguette, but also dense and wholesome rye and multi-grain breads.

A quaint little shop with the best selection of stuffed olives in town, down the street from Highgate Cemetary. There is also a lovely market portion of the shop with organic foods/cheeses/meats and nonperishable snacks. A perfect local spot to hang out and have a one-on-one, deep and meaningful over a latte whilst sitting outside in the sun, if luck is on your side.
