was warned about lack of quality dry cleaners in london and that advice rang true with a visit to forbs dry cleaners. had stains on a brand new dress. they put cleansing chemical on the stains that lightened the stains and left light marks all over the dress, in turn, damaging and discoloring a brand new dress(worn once and never cleaned before). had them patch a dress rip which was done nicely. however, they patched some cotton pants with THICK denim patches that is like wearing a diaper. who uses heavy denim patches in between thighs on light cotton trousers? the answer was, we use denim for all pants patches — yeah that makes sense… silk too i imagine? also there’s all this extra patch material uncut and the reason for that i’m told is… that it’s good to have a larger patch than required in case the repaired damage gets worse? i have no idea. completely disappointed. the dude who owns this is completely unaware and not checked in. i had to return about four times to deal with this one dress. as i’ve been warned, so have you.
