Fernández & Wells

This Fernandez an Wells is oddly implemented in a clothing shop. I’ve seen that concept before in a concept store that was selling clothes during the day and turning into a bar at night and loved it.
The staff was very friendly and i like the atmosphere, different from other coffee shops.
The coffee was good but i would have preferred my cappuccino to contain less milk. Was warm enough though. Seems weird to write that but sometimes it becomes an actual problem and i still don’t know how some coffee places manage to serve almost cold coffee.
Unfortunately the peanut butter brownie we tried was really not good. Really oily and fat, didn’t taste at all like PB and left a taste of great disappointment.
The sitting area is wide enough and looks nice. You have a choice between regular tables and high tables with bar stools.
You might want to check the place as it is unusual to have a coffee in the middle of a clothing shop but it wouldn’t go back especially for F&W’s coffee and food.

Friendly staff, a fun atmosphere, great coffee and delicious food. Set inside the Jig Saw store, also provides outside seating which is rare in the heart of London. Tucked away in Duke St diagonally opposite Selfridges off Oxford St, this is a little hidden gem for breakfast, a quick snack or lunch. Now open early from 7.30am Monday to Friday, this is a much better alternative to Pret or Costa. Also a new menu starting this week including salads and lots of other treats.
