Lovely neat shop with lots of variety sometimes on the boring side… The staff is friendly and helpful making sure the shop stays clean and organised. The house sections is especially well stocked. Well worth a visit when in the area.

This store used to be great, today my experience was most uncomfortable. The cashier in the men’s department was downright rude and arrogant. My husband touched the bell on the desk, and she tore into him, grabbing the bell and putting it well out of reach! How rude, the man made a simple mistake! Is the policy of this store intolerance of customers? The woman in the shoe department was totally ineffectual. However, the staff in the ladies clothing section were lovely and made up for the very loud discussion the girls in the fitting rooms were having about their boyfriends! Shocking!

Love this store, it has a little of everything, had some great gifts for tourists and some great clothes. The store is spacious and has everything from toys to furniture. Fenwicks also has a food court of its own including café, krispy kremes and harry morgans deli.

Fenwicks has been in Brent Cross since the very beginning and is one of two major department stores. It has three floors; on the first floor it sells cosmetics, household goods and shoes. On the second floor there is fashion with many small boutiques of many familiar designer names. There is also a men’s section too. On the third floor there are toys, furniture and also a few other cosmetic boutiques such as Aveda. Throughout the store there are also a few restaurants as well as a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop! Fenwick also have a nice selection of Christmas decorations at this time of year and it is always fun to take a look.

Considered by many to be the poorer(or should I say more expensive) relation of John Lewis, Fenwick is all too often overlooked by some visitors to Brent Cross. However, I think it does do somethings better than the big Brand at the other end of the mall. Sure, Fenwick doesn’t fit kids’ shoes or have an audio/visual department or even white goods. But, most of the other departments are quite comparable. For me two departments stand out at Fenwick: kitchen and toys. The kitchen area is crammed full of things, from Le Creuset pots to old-fashioned ceramic biscuit jars. Equally, the toy department is well worth a look. It has a great selection — from pocket money items to major gifts. There is even one full wall of Playmobil and Lego. Designer labels feature quite heavily in all the clothes departments at Fenwick. This you can take or leave, depending on your point of view and the state of your purse. At sales time, Fenwick can really shine. Linens, and especially goose down duvets, become much more affordable. Check it out next time you’re at Brent Cross — you may be surprised.
