Hi, I’m Erin and I’m a coffee snob. It’s not my fault. I’m Australian. Apparently it comes with the birth place. Having recently relocated to London, I’ve turned my nose up at my fair share of coffee spots and been on the hunt for something that’s up to my standards. F. Mondays is one of the best coffee shops I’ve come across since moving here. The coffee is spot on, food is simple but awesome, reasonably priced, simple set up, lots of natural sunlight AND they are dog friendly so I get the coffee and canine fix in one. Oh, and F. Mondays — what a name! OMG gotta stop, starting to sound like a fan girl.

Ok seriously, how can you not be charmed by a place that calls itself F. Mondays. Like Garfield and The Boomtown Rats(man, those references are dated) before them, this place clearly does not like Mondays. But what it does like is helping you survive Mondays with coffee, and nice coffee at that. I was not here on a Monday but I was here when I needed a coffee for a meeting and boy did I get it. It’s a lovely stark coffee shop with a giant front window creating nice lighting, and some nice wooden seating. Not a lot of it, it’s not a giant shop, but it is a comfortable one and sometimes that’s all that matters. And the staff are friendly and funny, which I also liked. And the coffee was strong. Can’t fault them on that. So next time you feel like swearing at a certain day of the week and you’re in Brixton, well, you know where to go.
