Lovely friendly people who know the techy speccy stuff too.
They found me glasses that suited my face and pocket!
They also do repairs (I bust the arm when discussing my mate’s nasty ex)

You can sum up this place by saying ‘great range and good old fashion customer service’. This is an independent shop run by very friendly, knowledgeable and honest people. My boyfriend and I returned there after searching for a long time for the right pair of glasses for him. We had tried a couple of other places (including one in Kings Road) but returned here because we felt that the owners and staff had been very helpful and very honest with their opinions. They were truthful with my boyfriend when certain styles didn’t suit him and also explained why they thought that they didn’t. We both felt that they were not ‘simply trying to get a sale’ and that they genuinely want their customer to be happy. To add to this great service, they have a great range of stylish glasses including Tom Ford, Tom Davies and many other styles not starting with Tom. If you need some glasses, I cannot recommend this place enough.

Having had good eyesight all my life, shopping for my first set of reading glasses was a bit of a trauma. Previous visits to opticians’ had been a bit traumatic and I never felt I could trust their measurements, or my own judgement.
I walked past this shops so many times I forgot it was here and was drawn in by the promise of a discount. The lovely Indian couple who run the shop were extremely understanding and helpful — I kept returning with various friends before I finally settled on a style of frame and booked my appointment (I am sure you are supposed to have your prescription ready when you start looking for glasses).
I was extremely impressed that they remembered my name and very embarrassed that I don’t remember theirs.
I felt in good hands and pleased that I wasn’t rushed through the examination. I now own a beautiful pair of glasses which I actually enjoy wearing.
A rare fiend of a place where you still received good old-​fashioned and very personal service. Highly recommended
