I ended up watching Big Hero 6 here on valentines day as the film had stopped showing in most mainstream cinemas. At first I thought it was a little pricey but once there, I could see why and it was worth every penny. Spacious: with plenty of leg room and in comfy seats for the film, and enough space to happily put your snacks or beverage. Very nice décor throughout with a very relaxing feeling, yet still being a bit upmarket and«cool». Something a little different. I definitely appreciated the bar, that served alcoholic drinks as well as the drinks and snacks you might expect from a cinema. All in all, a wonderful cinema experience that I couldn’t fault. Will definitely be returning.

I actually stumbled across this cinema by chance years ago when searching up the closest place near by to watch a movie. I was gobsmacked. What a cute little cinema! It has fast become my favourite place to watch a film in London, just for the fact that its so unique and cosy. It certainly has that ‘cool’ factor which makes you want to bring friends or a date that you want to impress. «Oh yeah, I always go to hip cool gems like this, no big deal». ANYWAY. I’ve given this 5 stars as, for what it is, it certainly fulfils all the criterias. Great cinema, clean, awesome food and cool vibe. ‘Luxury Cinema’ wise, It was a different sort of experience as I’m used to Singapore having reclining chairs, blankets and staff serving you food at the table but to be honest, this is a different sort of luxury. This is the luxury of having your own space and a table to balance tea and snacks on without looking like you’ve gone all out. It’s a place you want to be seen watching a movie in London. You can get an assortment of snacks form honey coasted cashews, nachos and dip to old school candies and chocolates. Oh, and their Toblerone cheese cake is KILLER.

Visited to see Shaun the Sheep this last Friday and we were happy with the experience. We were visiting from the US and are frequent visitors of Alamo Drafthouse in Texas. While the model here is similar to a traditional movie theater, the more«upscale» experience was evident from the moment we walked downstairs into the lobby. Non-traditional arty pieces dot the walls instead of movie posters, making it into a more«in the know» style scene where if you recognize the influence or movie the image is connected to, you’re one of the cool kids. Bar options were kind of limited, as was the food, but it was on-par with a traditional, yet upscale theater. More in-line with Landmark or Angelika theaters in the US in terms of the experience, but showing standard cinema fare instead of independent cinema.

This was my first time at an Everyman cinema. Nice and cozy, very comfortable seats. I did find the theatre itself a little too hot, but like the snack and drink selection and general atmosphere was very enjoyable!

This is a great little cinema, very comfy seats and a nice pre movie lounge area to enjoy a drink and nibbles pre-show.
