Been here a few times now… a cozy Samuel Smith’s pub on New Cavendish St, with friendly bar staff and welcoming regulars. Sam Smith’s, for those of you not aware, are a brewery who only offer their own brands of drink in their pubs, thereby keeping prices down. Therefore, you won’t find the normal brands here, but still, a wide range of beer choice (including some very, very tasty cherry beer!), and the normal full bar of spirits — just not the usual branded versions.
Food is available most days, but not Sundays — and is decent quality pub fare, served hot with a decent selection on the menu.
There are definitely worse choices in the area for a drink or a meal — worth checking out.

This is probably the worst pub in this area of london. Definetly the worst in the samuel smith group of pubs.
The beer and cider on tap is barrel-​wash instead of the usual stuff, and the staff are really horrible and rude.
The regulars aren’t much better, staring at you, and even coming up to you and moaning!
Dont go here!
