Fantastic, no frills mens shoe shop in the heart of Victoria — the shoes are not seconds and are sold at great prices. I suspect the owners own the premises and have very low overheads :) a rare and precious thing in these times.
Come here for the shoes. The shop fittings are not going to win any design prizes whatsoever but who cares? One appreciates the great prices.
Loakes and Dr Martens stocked. Also industrial shoes (steel toe caps) I seem to recall.

Situated in Strutton Ground, this shop is an institution, well known to the Civil Servants and MPs who frequent the area, as well as builders and more down-​to-​earth types.
Don’t be put off by the title: this no-​frills shop sells classic, timeless styles (think Brogues and Oxfords) by some top quality brands, such as Loake, as well as workwear, including Dr Martens (though I personally think the quality of ‘docs’ has gone down-​hill of late — don’t worry, that have other brands).
The shoes aren’t seconds either, so the discount is genuine.
Strutton Ground itself is always worth a look — it’s an odd survivor, with the feel of a small, slightly down-​at-​heel town centre street, right off busy Victoria Street. There’s a small market there most days.
