Crown Fried Chicken Take Away

Hungry, in Manor Park (E12) and in need of fast food and a little banter as you wait? Look no further than Crown Fried Chicken.
It may be too small to swing a cat, like we’re talking sanding room only for you and a couple of friends, but the staff are cheery and keep you occupied whilst you wait and before you know it, dinner is served. He best thing about them is after a few regular visits, they will ask for your name and will greet you by name whether you’re popping in or merely walking by.
As chicken shops go, this one is cheap, cheerful and the food is quality. You can pick from a range of dishes as long as its chicken, chicken or chicken. No danger of a semi horse burger here.
I love that they cook the chips from fresh and only put enough in the fryer for those that have ordered already. U definitely wont be subjected to hollow double cooked fries here. The chicken is kept in a hot plate, so okay, not particularly great last thing at night… a little on the dry side, if you catch my drift, but throughout the day there is a steady stream of fresh cooked meat coming from the kitchen.
If you like fried poultry and are tight with the pennies then this is definitely the place for you. I’ll take this over a KFC any day.
