Amazing feel to the place went in and got a pint. Got told that its a good place to watch the football… and it certainly was!

The Crown and Sceptre is about a stones throw from my house, and thank goodness for this. This pub is tucked away in Shepherds Bush but is out hidden gem. A very clean, well decorated Fullers pub that has a full bar, fresh flowers on the tables, beautiful beer garden and authentic Thai menu. The food is out of this world. I usually get the Pad See Ew or the Panang Curry. They also have take away if you are in a hurry. If you are a sports fan they have tvs throughout the pub so there is not a bad seat in the house. They offer a weekly pub quiz as well as occasional live music.

Crown & Sceptre is a perfectly okay, well-​run, solid Fullers pub. It seems to veer on the side of sports pub (there was a big screen showing football when we were there) but it’s inclusive of other pub pursuits too: the sole reason we were there was that it had scrabble, as well as a couple of other board games.
The beer is exclusively Fullers. Personally I like it for what it is — not particularly exotic but still enjoyable beer and a decent range. It’s good value here too: £3.80 for a bottle of 500 ml ain’t bad at all. They also have Thai food and an English food menu which we didn’t get to try.
So, yeah, I liked Crown & Sceptre. Solid rather than spectacular, more a 3.5 than a 3.

The atmosphere and look and feel are amazing. Good selection of beers. The Pork & Chorizo Burger is the winner here along with the Cheese Board.

Was taken here by a QPR fan ahead of a Saturday game. While it was a bit of a walk from the tube station, it was very large and a nice pub. I think I spied an outdoor area which always increases value in my book!
All in all, friendly service. Good tvs for those football fans. And the thai food was very good (4⁄5).

After a hectic weekend The Crown and Sceptre is an ideal place to unwind, read the papers, indulge in a Sunday roast and play the numerous board games the pub keeps for just such occasions.
I soothed my hangover with a pint, a plate of roast beef and a game of Trivial Pursuit and left feeling relaxed and fairly normal once again. This was more to do with the atmosphere rather than the roast which wasn’t bad but lacking any derisory green vegetables and accompanied by Yorkshire puddings which were slightly burnt.
In summer the pub’s pretty beer garden is a must to visit. Sheltered from the street and overflowing with flowers it is a great place to sit in the sun and enjoy a Pimm’s and lemonade.
