I love this place! I’ve been going to this shop for years now and I’m practically a regular! If you want unusual film or TV memorabilia from classic TV shows such as Dr Who to big blockbuster movies like James Bond films and all the other major films that have been out over recent years from books, dvd’s, board games, trading cards, and GENUINE autographed pictures and film posters, props from films and collectable models then this is the place to go! if Unilocal had a 10 star rating then it would get 10!!!

On Tue 17th Sep 2013 I visited this store & was absolutely disgusted with the offensive language the owner of the store was using just as general conversation to his employee about business! I diplomatically informed the owner that his language was offensive & unprofessional!, that I would NOT be returning to the store whereby he & his employee just looked at me & said nothing as if I were invisable! I don’t ever use offensive language like that & there could even been children present! If you value decent behaviour & professional behaviour DON’T give this shop owner or his employee profits! The store has been reported to Westminster trading standards! THANK-​U!

Good if you are a movie addict. You will find all types of memorabilia: posters, dvds, toys, books… The shop is not really big, but I am sure you will find something interesting.

C’est une petite boutiques sur 2 niveau. Au rez de chaussée l’ensembles de habituels trucs et machins des fans de cinoche: objets de collections, posters, jeux, etc Au sous-​sol un choix plutôt important de DVD et Blu-​ray dont certains imports US non zonés.
C’est un bel endroit pour les amoureux du genre.
Petit bémol, malgré des achats conséquents l’accueil était somme toute plutôt réduit à son stricte minimum en terme de politesse.

I really love visiting the Cinema Store.
The staff here seem to be in the know when it comes to films.
Neil Palmer, Retail Manager of the Cinema Store seems like a decent guy. The Cinema Store seem to offer a slightly better
customer service than other film related shops in London. Downstairs is the DVD department and the
contact telephone number for that department is 020 7379 7865. The Cinema Store has a fair and medium selection of Region One DVDs
from the United States & Canada, as well as other imported films and CDs. I always go in the Cinema Store whenever I’m in the Chinatown area.

The Cinema Store actually consists of two shops with separate entries: On the left, you’ll find the memorabilia department (T-​shirts, posters, soundtracks, DVDs). On the right side, there is a book store with a wide variety of film publications.
Look closely: All over the shop, you are likely to run across tempting bargains. In March 2010, I couldn’t resist buying the autobiography of one the best-​paid Hollywood screenwriters: Joe Eszterhas’ «Hollywood Animal» (which is £8.44 at Amazon UK) cost around £3 at The Cinema Store.
I’ll stop here. If you are a movie aficionado, you’ll be sold already. If not, I’ll have lost you by now.

The cinema store is a film nerds paradise, full of ornamental statues of sci-​fi characters, original posters and lots of items from films such and the Nightmare Before Christmas and Star Wars. The items range from affordable to expensive depending on what you’re looking for, so it is a good place when struggling to find a gift for someone as will have something for whatever your price-​range. The staff look like aged teenagers from some American film but know their stuff and are happy and helpful.
Obviously, not everyone will appreciate an ornamental Gandalf so use it selectively and I’m sure you’ll be happy with the results.

The Cinema Store is a small shop a few minutes’ walk from Leicester Square underground station, which sells collectables and memorabilia related to films, including T-​shirts, posters, soundtracks, videos, DVDs and magazines.
Although it’s a small place, they have a substantial stock (not always on display, so ask if you can’t find a specific item). Staff are knowledgeable and very helpful, in my experience. An excellent place to find an interesting present for a film-​buff.
