This adorable little café, ideally situated on the bridge between Chalk Farm and Primrose Hill, is a credit to the neighbourhood. It warms my heart to see it — particularly the fluffy white dog that can often be seen flopping outside or sassing around the bridge. The establishment looks interesting — it’s small, but decorated well, with a rustic atmosphere. For example, the table with sugar and stirrers on is an old sewing machine. There are a few places to sit(including outside on the bridge) but it’s mainly a takeaway sort of place. There are also cakes available, as well as fresh juices and smoothies. Absolutely honestly, the coffee is mediocre at best, and if I was judging purely on that I would give a less generous review. But it’s so enchanting that it’s hard to downgrade it much. It gets an extra star for the dog anyway — s/he is so chilled out so no worries if you don’t like dogs, but I mean, this is the best dog I have ever met.
