Good food. Quick service, and almost like what you find in the states. Just a little bit off. But still good quick food.

This is one of the worst Mexican chains in London. Dry meat overpriced and the tables were all quite dirty.

Been here a few times now and absolutely love this place. So prior to the Unilocal event held here I have never had a burrito. That all changed at this event. I found out that they made the guacamole fresh numerous times a day, we got to try some and I absolutely loved it. I’ve had the chicken burrito a few times here and have absolutely loved it. I have come here once specially for the burrito as its the closest Chipotle to me. The burrito was delicious and full flavoured. It was well made, full of flavour and they do not skimp on any of the ingredients at all. I know whenever I want a burrito fix, I will come here.

I had a BURRITO of barbacoa! It was my first time to eat a wrap in London. I put brown rice, brown beans, sour cream and lettuce. wanted guacamole but the staff said“You can’t or it’s extra…”(I couldn’t catch what she said. But there was still a queue behind me, so I didn’t ask again.) It was too big to bite so I ended up opening it to eat. I wondered if I could finish all this but I did!!! It was yammy. I would want to try a bowl with guacamole next time!!!

This chipotle isn’t my favourite one in London. Every time I get something here, there’s something that doesn’t go quite right. The first time, the people working were incredibly stingy! So much to the point where the flavours of all the ingredients weren’t balanced and it wasn’t very good tasting. The second time, I got a bowl and the same thing happened again. A lacklustre bowl of not enough balanced flavours… just a crap load of meat and puny servings of rice, salsas, cheese and lettuce. The third time, I got a burrito. And finally I felt like I got the usual and proportional toppings I had hoped for… but the burrito was poorly wrapped and for some odd reason VERYLEAKY! I had this as a take-away, and it was so embarrassing as I had to eat my burrito on top of the brown paper bag it came with. Liquid somehow oozed through the tortilla, through the foil and was thankfully caught into a pool/divot I made with the paper bag. Towards the final 3rd of the burrito, it completely fell apart and I looked like a moron at my desk. Really don’t know what to say. I have had a semi-consistent experience with my meals here, and all of them were not as great as other chipotle locations. I come here hoping for a great tex-mex fix… but I am often let down. I would recommend going to the Soho location as I find the food and service are much better.

I’d seen the ads for chipotle in plenty of tube stations & I love chipotle peppers, but in my mind I thought of them as just another fast food chain until Unilocal organised an event here and I was stripped thoroughly of my misconceptions! All the meat is sourced from free range farms, every item on the menu is prepared fresh on location. No central kitchen, pre packaged, frozen stuff here. I had a bowl with the carnitas, brown rice, pinto beans, veggies, guacamole, sour cream and topped with cheese. I also supplemented this with the fine sauces from Tabasco — chipotle & green pepper. It was so yummy and felt extremely healthy too(not counting the cheese) The meat was soft & tender, vegetables were freshly cut, not wilted. Guacamole was all fresh. So yeah, if there’s a chipotle in the vicinity, I’d definitely consider them for a quick lunch and if it’s an early dinner it can even be paired with Mexican beer & maybe a margarita! #YelpEveryDamnDay

This place serves the nicest burritos! They really care about what they do — making guac & salsa so fresh it tastes amazing, cooking the meat at each branch themselves. I tried a combo of chicken and barbacoa(YUM) with brown rice, black beans, cheese, guac, mild salsa and sour cream. It was sooo jam packed that I felt sick after eating it! Too much for me for a lunch so I would definitely go for a salad bowl in future. At £6 it was such good value for money and really delicious. Friendly staff.

For a «fast food» restaurant you get served really outstanding quality of food. All their meats are free range, everything is made from scratch… even the vinaigrette and everything is chopped and cut by hand. WOW!!! Chipotle really focuses on delivering hight quality and afordable food. From burritos to salad bowls, everything is really supper fresh… they make their guacamole 3 times a day. They also serve absolutely fantastic margaritas. Must vist for any fan of Mexican food.

1. tortilla chips with guacamole — I know the guacamole is the star but I am quite drawn to the tortilla chips. They are quitesalty, the texture has just the right crunch. Dipped into the soft and smooth guacamole, it was a favourite. 2. a choice of white/brown rice, followed by a choice of meat and I went for the steak, plentiful of salad, choice of pinto or black beans, sour cream, cheese, salsas, guacamole. It sounded like a lot to decide but not when it was your turn.

A friend of mine confided in me that she had never eaten a burrito in her life, so I had to drag her to Chipotle to change that! I walked her through the ordering process and we both ended up with beautifully wrapped chicken burritos. I ordered mine mild, she got hers spicy and we both mightily enjoyed them. All ingredients at Chipotle are fresh and delicious and you get to build your own burrito exactly how you want it. If you haven’t had a burrito from one of their shops yet or just really crave one, Chipotle is the place to go!

A taste from the states! Very friendly staff. A quality burrito made with quality fresh ingredients and made to order. They were even willing to mix different meats in the same burrito! When I feel home sick I dream of chipotle!

It pains me to give Chiptole such a poor review, but like my father always says, «if the quesadilla disappoints, write a disparaging Unilocal review.» Who knew dad was so prophetic? I knew Chiptole made quesadillas despite them not being on the menu so I was feeling like a major badass ordering from the secret menu. Well, next time I try to be cool I’ll have a specific example to reference to dissuade me from even trying. The quesadilla was underdone, meaning the cheese was still in solid form, and the tortilla was soft and pale. I was busy so I didn’t have the time to go up and get another one so I ate it, grimacing with every disappointing bite. And to add insult to injury, they charged me 70p for a side of sour cream which was genuinely filled with less than a tablespoon of insipid dairy liquid. Eat a d chipotle on baker street, eating a motherfucking d.

I love me some Chipotle. I’ve been in Europe for about three months and this is just about the time you start craving anything and everything that tastes like home. Now, let me address the haters because I’m feeling particularly passionate about my love for Chipotle right now. Or maybe I’m just homesick. A lot of the arguments that are made in bad reviews just suck. #1 — It’s more expensive than in the US. Well, DUH! Everything in London is more expensive than in the US. Haven’t you heard the rule of thumb: everything in London is the same price as in the US, it’s just denominated in pounds? #2 — It’s not as big of a portion as in the US. First of all, my burrito tonight was huge and I’m pretty sure it’s just as big as at home. Second, even if it were smaller, humans should not consume that much burrito in one sitting anyway so everyone would be better off if they were smaller. P. S. If Americans are complaining about the size of this already gigantic meal, we are only giving more evidence to why America is so obese. #3 — You have to pay extra for guac. You have to pay extra for guac back home too, this is nothing new. Circle back to #1 about the rule of thumb pricing and all order is restored. Clearly, I love Chipotle. This trip was no different. My only complaint is that the rice wasn’t cooked very well(a little hard) but I still thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Thanks for your great restaurant, Denver!

I love love love tacos! And I became a big fan of Chipotle when I spent a summer in California last summer. But I don’t think this Chipotle in London was near as good as the ones in California, and the waitress barely knew what a tortilla was since most English people only order the burrito. But overall, stoked to find a Chipotle and taco spot in London :)

I’ve been living in London for three years, and it wasn’t until last month I discovered this amazing place. For less than £10 you have burrito+drink; and it’s so good and tasty. Basically, you join the queue(there’s always a queue in Chipotle) and then you just pick up all you want: meat, veggies, cheese, salsa… there’re a lot of ingredients to choose! I always go for the chicken but everything looks amazing. They also have tortilla chips and guacamole if you feel like having something else(their guacamole is one of the best I’ve ever tried) I’ll come back for sure. It’s cheap, it’s quick and it’s so Yummy!

The food was okay, typical production line burrito fare(similar to Benito’s Hat or Barburrito), although why guacamole is an extra £1.60 I have no idea. The reason it’s only 2 stars is because two members of staff were disciplining another member of staff at the table next to us. in the middle of the restaurant! It wasn’t subtle at all, the manager seemed to be shouting the company handbook at the poor girl. Do they not have a staffroom? It was extremely unprofessional, it’s a cheap meal but they wouldn’t do something like that McDonalds.

GROT — –Only 2⁄3 the size of a USA Chipotle burrito –Rip-off prices e.g. Chicken Burrito costs £6.70 in UK but US price works out to be £3.79… that’s 77% more folks! –You have to pay extra for guacamole HOT — *Quality ingredients *Freshly made to your specification *Not many other places to get US style Mexican in London *Fresh, crisp taco shells and chips

Yum Yum Yum Chipotle. Whilst probably not the best burrito I’ve ever eaten, Chipotle definitely is in joint first place with Tortilla and on the way to being the best chain burrito place in London(I know they have a bizzillion places in the U. S already though) A pretty decent selection of meats, heavy(in a good way) on the farm assured ethical rearing of the animals, I chose to eat the carnitas(pork) with Guac while also getting a sideorder or tortilla chips. The burritos on offer here are definitely on the ‘super size’ scale of burritos — you’re going to get a full lunch and possible meat sweats is all I’ll say, while the guacamole tastes fresh and creamy(although £1.20 extra for it does seem a little excessive). The only downside which I see time and time again in UK burrito joints is the absolute lack of knowledge and ability in rolling it. This time it looked more like the lady was parceling something up to send back home and it would only be a matter of minutes before she’s sitting on it and strapping it with parcel tape to get it shut! Put it this way, one end had Guac in it, one had sour cream — not the mix throughout that I’d have obviously preferred! Saying that, the tortilla chips are cooked fresh in front of you and have a taste that can’t be beat so make sure you get an extra side of this to go with your burrito.

I was speaking with a friend the other day who works on Baker Street and she said she really wanted a burrito. I told her to go to Chipotle. «Oh, you mean che-pot-el?» she said, pronouncing it like that. «What?» was my reply. Chipotle(pronounced Shi-Pote-Lay) is a giant burrito chain in America that’s just now making it’s way to London. It’s your basic make-your-own burrito store. Walk to the counter, pick your meat, veggies, salsa, etc, and they will form you a burrito. Where Chipotle stands out is quality and tastyness of food. I know the try to use free range and organic whenever they can and damn that is a tasty burrito. I usually go for the steak, as you can’t go wrong, but chicken is OK too. You can also just get a bowl(without the wrap) if you so desire. Worth checking out if you’re near one and craving a bit of Americanized-Mexcian.

Also ich würde wieder hingehen.
