Oh my goodness, these dresses are so beautiful! Charlie Brear is the new name for the Vintage Wedding Dress Company(VWDC.) They sell a range of one-off vintage dresses along with their own ready to wear dresses. One of my best friends bought her wedding dress from here, and she looked truly stunning… she told me about it, so I was keen to take a peek at their gorgeous styles and materials. Each dress is customisable(so you can add various length arms, sashes etc…) The materials are incredibly luxurious, and feel lovely against your skin. The dresses I tried were«bias-cut», so they really clung to my figure and looked amazing. It is a loooovely place to visit and the staff really looked after us. I don’t think I can afford them, but it was great fun to try them on… The bad bits: — You’re not allowed to take any photos. My mum has a terrible memory, so she really wanted to take pictures so she could remember each dress. She has to grab a pen and paper and draw them. — Some of the vintage lace was a bit discoloured, but they are still very expensive. — The prices are eye-watering. They start at £1,200, but once you add over £80 for sleeves, £120 for a sash and a few extra hundreds for fitting, they end up closer to £2,000+. — You can only take 2 guests with you.
