I visit this restaurant a lot with my family. The food is very fresh and high quality with large portions. Seafood is also amazing! Price is also fair. We love going here for the atmosphere. The staff are very welcoming and there is often live Galician music. We often spend a whole evening here Cannot recommend it enough !

I love this place! My Spanish friend recommended it as the only authentic Spanish place in London and I must admit that the moment I went in I felt as if I were in a bar in Spain. The atmosphere is really relaxed, the food and the wine are good value for money and, above all, delicious! I’ll be going there again!

If you want to sample gorgeous Galician(North Western Spain) cuisine, this is a perfect place to pick. It has a family run feel to it and our waiter was very attentive all evening long despite being very busy. The establishment is nothing fancy and its location is suitable if you don’t live far from this area however it is the food that will bring you to this place! They have an ample menu of authentic dishes whether it be from the tapas selection or the mains. I highly recommend the octopus and the monkfish stew which were wonderfully prepared not to mention the amazing taste. I was shocked when the monkfish arrived served in a paella style pan with all the condiments… it was huge and all for me! The menu has a good balance between seafood, fish and meat dishes to cater for most palates. Good selection of wines from the region too, and all very well priced, especially considering the quantities! You will not leave hungry. A more convenient location would be preferred but that depends on where you are based. Don’t expect plush central london style, this place is more of the traditional sort run by lovely people, a good menu, great tasting food, a wonderful Galician experience.

A fantastic friendly Spanish restaurant which specialises in Galician food. Tapas here is a real treat and the whole place is straight out of Galicia complete with locals propping up the bar. Downstairs is a huge restaurant with a separate games area. On the weekends they often have live music. Upstairs is a bar area where you can enjoy a glass of wine and delicious tapas. Highly recommended!

I love the food here, great seafood and tapas. I especially love the fish soup and they make a great lamb shank. Its not overly priced like some spainsh restaurants/tapas bar and the staff are very friendly and chatty. You can watch the chefs at work in the kitchen while you have drinks and tapas at the bar. Be warned the bar gets very loud on weekends, lots of spaniards tend to congregate and chat excitedly. Try getting a seat downstairs if you prefer a quite meal.

I’m a little bit sad to pass the word round about this place as I love it so much and I sort of feel I’ve stumbled across a secret treasure. The Centro Galego de Londres is an amazing little tapas bar and restaurant, and while they may be two a penny in London this place is decidedly different. Situated on a non-descript stretch of Harrow Road before it sweeps up towards Harlesden, this is a social club(although open to all) and has that sort of feel about it. The warm cosy bar is filled with friendly faces who always have time for a chat. The other thing about this place is it is truly international, clientele from all cultures come in to drink, and it is a truly welcoming atmosphere. To top it all off the food is fabulous, people are always so impressed with the food here and yet you are only looking at about £3 per dish! When you arrive, you are given a bowl of bread and butter, some olives, and even sometimes some complimentary spanish omellete or some prawns. With the dishes on offer and the fab prices all too often you can find yourself with more food than you know what to do with! By the way, in true spanish style the spirit measures are not heard of here so expect a healthy glug of spirits in your drinks I love this place for its truly homely, welcoming atmosphere, you don’t even need to eat, many simply come for a beer and a chat. Weekends they have music downstairs.
