I met an old school friend and his family for dinner at this restaurant. It’s a small Italian restaurant with a cosy, homey feel. The staff were super nice and helpful and do fantastically well with children. Food arrived fast and was very tasty, overall it was a very pleasant experience.

My cousin and I walked into this restaurant on Friday evening. It was full of empty tables in the back. We walked in and were not greeted at the door. We then asked if we could be seated. The greeter then rudely said we had to wait. We gently inquired as to why we had to wait since there were so many free tables. Then with an enormous amount of attitude, he said that as a party of 2, we couldn’t sit in the back since the tables were meant for parties or 5 or more. We have felt so insulted at a restaurant before. Needless to say we did not stay and left promptly after that terrible service.

Pasta and dessert aren’t good! However pizza was great. It was warm, thin crusted, and tastes just how Italian pizza should taste! The older guy who served us was at first a bit rude, but by the end of the meal he warmed up to us. There was also a younger guy and he was extremely bubbly and sweet! The paintings in the restaurant were absolutely beautiful, and its conveniently located right next to the station. Overall I wouldn’t come out of my way for this restaurant, but if I was in the area I would definitely stop by!

Decent pizza. Lovely fresh crust, toasted just how I like it. Great, efficient service. Probably about £2 pricier than I would expect but you obviously end up paying a bit more being round the corner from St Pancras.

Visited Casa Mamma today for dinner and ordered soup and pasta. Friendly waiters and great food. Prompt service. Price is reasonable. Leaving London in a couple of day and will definitely dine in Casa Mamma on my next trip.

Don’t judge this restaurant from their tired storefront. Step inside and the place transforms. Their lunch menu has about a dozen of their pizzas and pastas for £5.95. We were in town and staying near St Pancras /Kings Cross, and were tired of chains, tired of pub foods, but wanted something more substantial than a(wonderful) pastry. After being here for almost a week, we checked it out. I was in a party of four, and we each ordered something different from the lunch menu. For £5.95, we expected half-sized portions. We knew it didn’t include appetizers or sides, but when the food arrived(after a shorter than expected wait) it was in heaping portions. We had lasagne bolognese, a ziti dish, and two different pizzas. The lasagne was excellent, with a good balance of cheese and sauce, meat and pasta. My wife had the ziti, which had a lot of peppers, to the point that it was too spicy and she didn’t finish it. My parents pizzas were each 10″ across, with a light, crisp crust that may be typical for European pizzas, and I wish we had more of in the states. The toppings were good on both the«Americano» and the«whatever my dad ordered that had too much mushroom for me.» Again, the portions were large, and we all pulled together to help finish off each other’s meals. At the price of those lunches, we could have afforded appetizers or desserts, but the entrees themselves were so big, it’s a good thing we didn’t. I’m leaving London tomorrow. If I weren’t, I’d find my way to Casa Mamma again.

The prices are not too expensive and the food isn’t bad, for London. The waiters are friendly. I really suggest Gnocchi al pomodoro or Gnocchi al Gorgonzola e panna. Give it a try, it’s one of the best Italian restaurant in the city.

I still love the pizza Rucola, but the waiter is flirtatious to the point of discomfort. He doesn’t mean any harm, but now I always have to weigh whether the awkward waiter is worth the pizza.

I’ve never actually eaten in here, but I’ve gotten loads of pizzas to take home and they’re always delicious. They’ll make it any kind of pizza you like so you can choose random toppings.

Super Kitsch décor and old world feel but a really nice Calzone and cold drinks at this place. Conveniently located outside Kings Cross, diagonally across from the mainline station, this is a cheerful Italian restaurant with attentive and interested staff. I would not go out of my way to go here, but the experience was pleasant.

Ok, cannot confirm the all time friendly service if it comes to choosing the right table, but the food and all the rest was very good! A good choice definitely!

A classic Italian restaurant with very friendly service. They gave us a free pizza on the house once; and waiters flirt cheekily with female customers — which is also very classic italian). It’s a homey restaurant with a traditional Italian menu of pizza carbonara, romana, quattro fromaggio, etcetera. My Italian friend, famous cook and picky eater, praised their dessert, saying that it matched what you’d get in Milan.
