Carter Lane Coffee House

A fabulous small coffee house that serves seriously good coffee with the additional charm of the staff who brighten everyone’s day.

This place only has one review! Unbelievable! This place is wonderful and amazing. A tiny little coffee house run by 2 charming, welcoming and friendly, Italian girls.
Okay, so I’m a lily-​livered fake coffee drinker, so, I can’t really comment on their coffee. But their decaf cappucino’s are light and delicious. They offer a choice of milk or dark hot chocolate… A CHOICE!!! …go for the dark. ;)
The offer pastries and some really affordable, tasty and freshly made toasties.
I normally get here early lunch to nab a seat in the window. But get there any later and it’s busy.
This place is a real undiscovered gem and deserves more reviews!

The best «Caffè Latte»!!!
I spent a couple of days on vacation in London and stayed overnight nearby to this place. As I didn’t have a decent coffee machine in the apartment, I went out to seek some good coffee. What I found was some perfect coffee that you can only find that good in Italy!
It came to no surprise that this coffee house is run by a couple of Italian girls. Always with a smile and talkative. You feel like you stepped into a real little Italian coffee spot.
I tried out their «long black» and their «Caffè Latte». Both really good, the black coffee still had some foam on top! :-) But the Latte was a dream! I never was a big fan of Latte’s, but this one was the best I ever had. I ordered one every day. You should follow the professional process they go through to prepare it.
Back home in Switzerland I’m going to miss this spot, at least we got Italy right around the corner.
The coffee at «The Alchemy» around the corner is nothing close. Taste was awful of two different coffees I tried there. Perhaps it’s the difference of either an English person or an Italian preparing coffee…
