I love this store because 1) I’m always buying gifts that need wrapping at the last minute, 2) I never have enough stationery, and 3) it’s paces from the tube stop.
«Card Bureau» — in small, harsh neon letters no less — is such a stern name for a shop that gives so generously. On its 2 large floors, you’ll find loads of wrapping paper, tissue paper, gift bags, ribbon, stationery, notepads, balloons, party gifts/​favours, calendars, games, knick-​knacks, and yes, cards (and I’m sure I’m forgetting something).
