It looked like busy cooks and smoking meat and happy people from the outside, so we went in. It’s a simple but authentic setting: plastic flowers on the table, and carpets on the wall, complete with football scarves.
They were indeed busy, and the waitress barely looked at us as she served the food, which came quickly after we had ordered. Portions were a bit much for me with a shared hummus plate as a starter followed by a minced lamb dish. I liked the meat, the salad was very fresh, but uh, the strong onions!
Unfortunately my boyfriend fell ill after we ate here, so he’s not a fan anymore. Too bad, I wish it wasn’t the case, this makes it a 2-​star now.

Nothing fancy, just good quality Turkish food. Looks like A.N.Other kebab shop from the outside but go in and sit down and you’ll get excellent grilled meat, free salad/​bread/​sides and a couple of beers for 20GBP for two. They’ve also got casseroles and the like, if that’s what you’re after.

Good quality Turkish style kebabs and casseroles. Nice selection of salad to go with the kebabs. No vegetarian menu which is a pain. You can sit in or get a take away. It isn’t posh, it hasn’t got fancy décor but if you want a nice, relatively cheap meal in the Green Lanes area, this is one to consider.
