Great view of street life even when its raining its fascinating watch people scurry by the big window toward the bus stop. Convenient pitstop too ;)

Alright, I’m a fan — For one reason, and one reason only; sometimes you just need a coffee to get through the hour long tube journey to work. Costa Coffee? No thanks. Starbucks? Too pricey(especially when I converted it to USD in my head) Nero? Ehh, okay, I guess. Caffe Nero has a very distinct taste, and I mean this in the nicest way. It isn’t great, but it isn’t horrible, whereas Costa I just flat-out do not care for. I did appreciate their punch card which rewarded me for over-caffeinating myself with… more caffeine! Hurraaa! Also, there’s outdoor seating. We all know London and sunshine don’t come into contact all that often, so being able to truly enjoy these moments is essential. The hours. hmf. Life on Tottenham Court Road shuts down very early. Most coffee shoppes would be packing it up by the time I was getting home from work. By 20:00, it looks like the set of a zombie film.

This is my Sunday morning hangout, rain or shine. It’s weird how many coffee shops crowd this immediate area; to my last count two Caffe Neros, one Starbucks, and two Costas. The building stands alone in an odd, forlorn way, surrounded by a neighborhood park beset by graffiti. Tables outside, under a giant awning, faces south looking into oncoming Tottenham traffic. It’s an especially peaceful place to hang out on the weekends.
