This cute little café is tucked away — very conveniently for me — in Wandsworth, and offers the kind of breakfast and brunch options us antipodeans crave every weekend. The décor is half way between Anne of Green Gable’s schoolhouse and your grandma’s kitchen, which makes you feel well and truly at home. And the staff are relaxed and friendly too. It is of course the menu that makes this place truly worth your time though, with everything from breakfast basics like smashed avocado, right through to the house special bubble(a delicious twist on everyone’s favourite, bubble and squeak) and even a special vegan breakfast.

Café Fleur is a sweet little local café. I have only had breakfast there once, but it was really enjoyable and it wasn’t overpriced. The service was great and the staff seem to enjoy their work. I had a problem with my coffee at first and they quickly made me a new one and apologised, I couldn’t have asked for better service. The décor is very cute and they have some tables outside which will be perfect when the weather gets better. I would definitely recommend them for a relaxed weekend breakfast or lunch.

This used to be a typical greasy spoon café, but now it is under new management it is more of a sandwich bar. The will make sandwiches to order, do the usual fried breakfast and do teas and coffee. They also do a limited range of hot food and a daily special. The place is clean and friendly. It is fine for a light snack or drink.
