FYI this dentist office is no longer called Neem Tree, it has been purchased by Bupa and now called Bupa London Canary Wharf Dental Centre. Being a Yank I was quite apprehensive going to a dentist in the UK. I know the stereotypes… I’ve watched Austin Powers! In fact, I had been going back to the US for my bi-annual dental cleanings! I got a recommendation from a colleague at work to go to this dentist practice. They’re based in Canary Wharf so they’re used to expats. The offices are clean and the dental staff are very friendly. Dr Kostas Papadopolous has been the dentist I’ve been seeing for the last couple years now. He’s been in the UK for a number of years now and does a great job. He’s very thorough in his examinations and patient when answering the various questions I have. Even though they’re in the heart of Canary Wharf, it’s still relatively easy to get a booking. The only area of improvement is I wish there were more days where I can see the hygienist for cleaning and dentist for examinations on the same day /back-to-back — currently the only day is a Friday. They have fair prices for cleanings and other treatments. Definitely a place where I’ll be coming back for my regular dental checkups.

I have just visited Neem Tree for a dental hygiene visit. It cost £75 per visit. I have never tried any other dental clinic in London before so comparison with others is no possible. But on thing is for sure, it is an upmarket place providing dental service. It has got hip/cool interior and very new equipments. The dentists and nurses are all very helpful and polite. If money is no issue, then it’s a good place for routine check-ups and cleaning!
