This pub is very lively especially when there are live bands playing. The alcohol is a reasonable price even with the credit crunch. However, when there is no live performances it does get quiet and not as upbeat and lively as it can get.

Really well run family pub. Suitable for familys in the daytime and gets livley in the evenings for both young and old. They have local bands play weekly they also run quiz nights regularly and also have a weekly kareoke. The pub is involved in a lot of charity fundraising for locals. It is a great pub to be in. The beer garden has won awards, it has heaters, pool tables, lots of seating and shade areas.
