Broadway Bagel Bakery

I know this is a bagel bakery but — the only thing that draws me here 7pm randomly in the evening are their yummy cheesecakes!
Their cheesecakes are always fresh and just right. I usually get the vanilla one. Not the biggest portions or cheap (for the size) but well worth it. And their other baked good are great too!

Broadway Bagel Bakery is a great place to buy beigels in the local area. I love their smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels but at £2.70 each they are expensive when compared to the beigel bakeries in Brick Lane (Beigel Bake (
) & Beigel Factory (
)). However, I would recommend this place as there isn’t much alternative in the local area (apart from Roni’s Bagel Bakery (
) in West Hampstead which is also expensive).

I think these are my favourite bagels in London! They are so soft and yet chewy and perfect toasted or not toasted. Delicious! And cheap cheap cheaparoo! It also helps that the shop is at the end of my road…
Occasionally there are mornings when my brother goes to pick up a bunch of bagels from this place and stops by my house out of the blue to drop a few of them off… I love those mornings. An unexpected bagel in the mouth for breakfast, smothered in butter or cream cheese and smoked salmon is like a little taste of heaven (in my mouth).
The rye bread is also delicious from here and makes me feel a little nostalgic as we always used to get it from here when I was a child. You can get them to slice it for you, but I prefer to just get the loaf because then you can cut super thick slices :)
There are a selection of cakes and pastries here too, they look yummy, although I’m usually focussed on the bagels. BUT I have had the apple doughnuts — fresh soft doughy-​doughnuts filled with big slices of soft, cooked apple… mmmm.

The only place to go and get your bagels in North West London. They do daily fresh bagels and stays open late for a late night bagel fix. They do a deal where you get ten bagels, smoked salmon and cream cheese for £5, and its all amazing. Its also a bakery but the other pastries are not so good.
