Great DJs, decent staff, but crowd overrun with coked out lads. Pity. Microcosm of London at large, I guess. There’s not much more to say, really. Competent cloakroom? Working bathrooms.

Sadly my visit to Brixton Jamm happened at night in January so I didn’t get to take advantage of the awesome garden out at the front but it wasn’t enough to spoil my visit(probably due to it being fairly late on a Saturday!). There’s 2 rooms here that could both do with a bit of a clean up however I couldn’t fault the bar staff at all. Service was really quick and definitely helped with my enjoyment of the night in general. The worst part about Jamm is the trek from the High St along to the venue. Short of picking the whole place up and replacing Iceland there’s not a lot they can do about that!

One of Brixton’s finest late venues. Live bands, DJ sets and late hours — typically busy on the weekend and rightfully so. About 10 minutes walk from the tube, it appears on your right and if you haven’t been before you might wonder what’s going on that huge house party… oh wait, that is Jamm! Set in a big old mansion of a building, they’ve got two big rooms with different DJs and bars. Out the front there are plenty of tables and chairs for the warmer months. Check the listings… you’ll find some surprisingly big names swinging by.

Cool venue with 2 different rooms for 2 different musical vibes. The £8 cover annoyed me, but ultimately was worth it.
