Boma

One of my absolute favourite restaurants. I’ve been here for breakfast, lunch, dinner and brunch and it never disappoints. I came here yesterday for brunch on a Sunday and had a great time. I had the eggs benedict and my friend had the eggs royale (eggs benedict with smoked salmon instead of ham essentially). We split an order of the smashed avocado on toast, and I had a cappuccino. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere. The staff are friendly and service is fast and efficient. They leave a full jug of tap water on the table which is much appreciated, as well.

A friend had recommended Boma Green’s happy hour… and when we walked to boma green, we were informed that no, it’s this location that has the happy hour… so we walked in the freezing cold from one to the other, arriving just in time to catch the end of happy hour.
The venue is super cute, with a great outdoor space, when it’s finally warm. There was only one other party present during our visit, so we got to chat with the bartenders, they didn’t make us stick with the same cocktails for the 2 for 1 special, and we sampled the espresso martini, the porn star martini, lemongrass something or other martini, and hemingway daiquiri. 16 pounds plus 2 pounds optional gratuity, so a great deal!
I’d love to try it for dinner sometime, but leaving so soon, probably won’t get a chance. definitely a cute date spot!

I had a full english breakfast yesterday at one of their outside tables on a beautiful sunny day. The freshly squeezed orange juice was absolutely amazing and my macchiato was also up to standards. The bacon wasn’t the best i’ve ever had but the sausage, fried eggs, beans, toast, mushroom, and tomato (served with pesto) were all excellent. All in all a very nice place for breakfast on a sunny day. Wandworth Bridge Rd also has plenty of character and you can do a bit of furniture shopping when you are done or head to on of the local parks.
