I had my nose pierced here just over two years ago and it was one of the best piercing experiences I’ve had. I was a walk-​in and they gave me an appointment within the hour, so I had just enough time to come to terms with my impulsive decision. Happy to go ahead, I went back to the studio and I consulted with a girl who seemed German, don’t know if she’s still there. She offered me various jewellery pieces for the piercing and I went for a small simple silver ring. I had heard it wasn’t possible to pierce with a ring but that was what I really wanted so I was delighted.
The place was very clean and minimal inside, and I got a good feeling from it. My piercer also took considerable time getting fresh tools and sterilised materials etc., which is always reassuring.
The piercing itself was excellent, she really took time to place it properly and when I wasn’t happy with the first placement, moved it up just the tiniest amount to make it perfect. She warned my eyes would water, which they did quite a lot, but it really was not that painful at all. It just felt quite sharp for a moment. When she was threading the piercing through it felt a little like it was going to bruise, this part more painful than the needle itself.
After she gave me lots of care instructions, and I went on my way.
This piercing is the one I’ve had the least issues with – in fact, absolutely no issues whatsoever. The redness was gone within 2 days and I never had a single infection or irritation. It healed without any fuss whatsoever.
