Look. It’s just ok fish and chips!
Nothing to write home about and certainly nothing to warrant these prices!

The food here is really nice, and the staff are friendly. The chips in particular are the best I’ve ever had from a take-​away; I think they fry them in proper fat rather than oil. However, the prices are absolutely extortionate. I was charged £16.60 for two regular portions of cod and chips, literally twice the price of your average chippy. It’s tasty, but I’m not a regular customer despite living nearby, purely because of the ridiculous prices.

There’s nothing particularly good about Blackheath Fish and Chips. The portions are small, overpriced and of poor quality. Anything fried has usually been left in a warmer for ages, and their quarter pounder with salad contained one limp lettuce leaf.
Unfortunately, Blackheath Village is severly lacking in fast food choices, so if you’re seeking a snack after the pub, Blackheath Fish and Chips is the only real option.

This is one of the better chippys in london– good food, and the price isn’t too bad either portion wise, its good. it can get busy, so i hope you’re not starving! ideal after a night out at the local boozer
