Belushi’s replaced the St. Christopher’s Inn next door to Greenwich Station making it an ideal place for meeting friends. It also means you get maximum time in the pub and don’t have to sprint through Greenwich in order to make the last train home. Despite the takeover by Belushi’s, it still feels like the old St Christopher’s Inn which is nice. It’s warm and welcoming with a lot of character. The walls are full of posters and things to look at which some people might see as tat but I happened to like something to look at whilst my friend went to the toilet. The pub is busy in terms of activity. Live music nights are on offer on Thursdays and Sundays with local acts performing, weekends are big sports days with 7 plasma screens to watch the action on meaning that no matter where you are in the bar, you can see the match and Wednesday is Student night with cheap drinks galore if you have a valid NUS card. Wednesdays bring in a lot of punters from Greenwich University, generating a real buzz. Belushi’s has a long cocktails list which is reasonably priced during the happy hour, but a little expensive outside at nearly £4 a glass. Food can work out a little pricey too when you consider that you can buy two meals elsewhere for the price of one at Belushi’s.
